I don't know what compelled me to take a run on this hot June day, but here I was.
Letting the hot summer air hit my body, beads of sweat dripping down my forehead.
I used this time to think, even though thinking wasn't the best thing for me to do.
I put my phone on airplane mode so I wouldn't get any notifications to distract me.
Soon I circled around back at my house, seeing my dad getting in his car with his usual bag.
"It's pretty early to be out" He said, pushing his glasses up on his nose.
"Got a lot on my mind" I told him, taking my headphones out.
My mom was putting on her shoes in the living room when I entered the house, her kissing me goodbye before leaving as well.
I entered my room, throwing my phone on my bed before stripping of my clothes and going to my bathroom, taking a long, needed shower.
I got out, throwing on a large t-shirt and nike shorts, brushing out my tangled hair.
My phone was still on airplane mode when I checked it.
As soon as I took it off, text messages from Harry started coming in.
He was just checking up on me, asking me if I wanted to come over.
I ignored his texts, deciding I just wanted to chill right now.
I went down in the kitchen, rummaging through all of the cabinets until I finally decided on a plain bagel with butter.
I heard my phone go off again, another text from Harry.
Harry <3: Angel, please come over.
Harry <3: I'll get you your coffee.
I took another bite of my bagel.
I shouldn't be dwelling on something two months away, I should just enjoy my time with him.
Emma: i'll come over
I finished my bagel and slipped on some shoes, grabbing my keys on the way out.
I sighed deeply reminding myself to not dwell on something so far away.
"Hi baby" Harry smiled as I entered the kitchen.
I saw my coffee sitting on the counter.
"Thank you" I smiled at him, taking a sip of the coffee.
"Whats wrong?" He asked me.
It hadn't even been two minutes since I was in his presence and he knew something was wrong.
"Nothing" I told him, trying to send him a smile to shrug it off.
He stepped closer to me, putting his arms over his chest.
"C'mom Emma, tell me" He urged.
I knew I should just tell him, if anything he'd make me feel better.
"It's just m-" I started.
"Hey love birds" Gemma smiled entering the kitchen.
I smiled back at her then looked at Harry, his face expressing frustration.
As she looked through the fridge, I looked over at Harry to see his eyes already on me.
He nodded his head towards his bedroom and waited for a nod back.
I followed him towards his room, sitting on his bed as he closed and locked his door.
"So tell me" He said quite blankly.
"Its what my dad said last night, you know about not being able to go" I sighed, seeing his emotions go from frustrated to understanding.
"I know baby, but lets not focus on that right now, it's pretty much three months away" He spoke softly, taking a seat next to me on the bed.
"Thats what I keep telling myself" I chuckled, looking into his beautiful green eyes.
Harry kissed me softly, telling me he was gonna check up on his mom.
I laid down on his bed, scrolling through my phone.
We didn't have plans today so I would be fine taking a few moments to myself.
But sooner than I thought Harry entered his bedroom again.
"Mum and Gem wanna go to Universal today" He said, walking over to his dresser.
"Like studios?" I asked, sitting up from his bed.
"Yeah I have a yearly pass but I never use it" He shrugged, slipping off his clothes.
"I mean I've only been once" I told him, standing up.
"But thats only because I wanted to see Harry Potter world" I chuckled, walking behind him and wrapping my arms around his waist.
"Butterbeer is pretty good" He smiled.
"Am I dressed okay?" I asked him, pulling away from him.
"Yeah, it just Universal baby" Harry smiled, slipping on a pair of gym shorts.
I smiled, leaning up to kiss him once more.
Once Harry was ready, we took the trip.
It was only about twenty minutes including the traffic.
"Harry Potter world!" Gemma smiled once we all finally entered.
I laughed at her and looked up at Harry who was already looking at me.
"You're beautiful" He said softly, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
I smiled at his comment, leaning into him as we followed his sister and mom.
It was quite a fun trip, made me forget about him leaving.
He asked me to stay, which I agreed to, wanting to spend all the time I could with him.
We all ate dinner at some cafe by his house, all laughing about dumb stories of Harry has a kid.
Me and Harry stayed up until three in the morning, just talking sitting on his couch.
Finally we made it to bed, cuddling against each other.
"I love you Emma" Harry whispered.
"I love you too" I smiled to myself, pressing my self further against him.
"I don't wanna leave without you" He sighed a few minutes after silence.
"I know, I don't want you to leave" I sighed as well.
"You're the best thing thats ever happened to me" He told me, kissing the top of my head.
I kissed his chest, feeling his fingers tangle themselves in my hair.
We lied there for a minute.
Our thoughts taking over.
I kept myself attached to him.
Savoring every moment I had left with him.
"Please don't let me leave you" Harry whispered.
It was too hard to promise something that I wasn't sure could happen.
"I promise".
