I woke up to my phone ringing.

It was Sunday morning, I was supposed to get rest.

"Hello?" I groaned into my phone, not even bothering to look at the called ID.

"I'm sorry" Harry breathed into the phone.

Now I was awake.

We hadn't talked for the rest of the week. Not even one text. I was almost completely sure he was done with me.

"For what?" I asked, sitting up in my bed.

"For being rude and shrugging you off. I consider you my best friend and you deserve to know how I feel" Harry spoke, causing a giant smile to grow on my face.

"I forgive you" I said, the smile on my face still prominent.

"Soooo" He started.

"I've missed you" He finished.

"Little ol' me?" I teased.

"See you are little!" He exclaimed through the phone.

"Oh shut up" I laughed, sinking into the covers of my bed.

"I'm recording a song today and writing, would you like to come?" He asked me, my mouth falling wide open.

"You're serious?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes" He chuckled.

"I know you want to be in the light one day, this is one way to start" He explained, me standing up with excitement.

"Yes, of course I'll come" I smiled, although he couldn't see me through the phone.

"Good, I'll send the address and put your name on the list" He said, his voice laced with happiness.

"See you angel"

I was smiling so hard as I walked down the stairs, my lie already played on the tip
of my tongue.

"Morning sunshine" My dad smiled, my mom glancing away from her computer and at me.

"Plans for today?" He asked as I poured myself a glass of orange juice.

"Well I was wondering if I could have a girls day with Kelly? Maybe stay the night?" I asked, a hopeful look in my eyes.

"No" My mom said, still typing on her computer.

"Catherine, come on, shes only sixteen" My dad sighed, putting down his coffee cup.

"So?" She snapped, shutting her laptop.

"Her grades are impeccable, she's never really done anything wrong" My dad pointed out, my moms lips in a thin line.

"Besides sleeping around" She snarled, her piercing eyes running through me.

"Catherine" My dad warned.

"Yes honey, you can go" My dad breathed, never breaking eye contact with my mom.

"Thank you" I smiled, rushing upstairs and getting ready.

I put on a pair of dark wash girlfriend jeans on, pairing it with a yellow cropped tank top, and a big fluffy brown jacket, throwing on my white converse.

I did my usual makeup and put my hair up in a simple half up half down, a yellow scrunchie holding the ponytail.

I also packed a bag for over night since I told my parents I would be staying the night.
