It had been two months. It was Christmas morning now.

I had texted Calum in November.

Mostly because I had no one else but Kelly.

We're the old trio we used to be.

Partying and getting high all the time.

My mom hadn't mentioned the Harry letter since that night.

She has been nicer though.

Not the old mom.

"Good morning! My father exclaimed, running down the stair case like a child.

"Merry Christmas dad" I smiled, getting up from the couch and giving him a hug.

"Up for a coffee run before mom gets up?" He smiled, I nodded.

I through on my baby pink slippers and grabbed my winter coat and walked out the door with my dad.

"There you guys are!" My mom smiled, at least she was happy on Christmas.

"We got you a donut and a coffee" My dad grinned, handing her the bag and the hot cup of black coffee.

Black coffee reminded me of Harry.

"Ready to open presents!" My dad smiled once again, taking a seat on our couch.

So far I had gotten clothes, more sweaters, more jeans, and new cute pair of brown booties.

"Thanks you guys" I grinned gratefully, hugging them both.

"We just have one more thing for you" My mom smiled, her eyes filled with joy.

"What?" I asked, I was kind of shocked this is all I usually got.

"We know you've been wanting a car" My dad started, my eyes widening.

"Stop" I breathed, my eyes filled with shock.

"Look outside sweetie" My mom said, her voice sweet like nectar.

"Oh my god!" I exclaimed, looking at the brand new jeep in-front of me.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I jumped into both of their arms.

It was now New years eve and I was doing my makeup for a party that Kelly was throwing.

Her parents were in Bali for vacation so she saw the perfect opportunity.

"Hey sweetie?" My mom asked, walking into my room.

She had been very pleasant since Christmas.

"Yes?" I asked, putting down my blending brush.

"A package came for you today" She smiled, handing me a little white box.

"Oh thanks" I smiled back, taking the package.

"Go on open it" She nudged, sitting on my bed.

So I did.

It was a small box wrapped in baby pink wrapping paper.

I knew exactly who it was from.

A silver paper airplane necklace sat on-top.

"Merry Christmas my angel- Harry Edward" A note on top of it said.

"Thats beautiful" My mom gasped, grabbing the necklace out of the box.

"Yeah" I breathed, watching her unlatch it.

"Move your hair" She told me, so I did.

The cold silver was soon placed around my neck, the necklace stopping on my chest.

"It looks beautiful on you" My mom smiled, looking at me through my vanity mirror.

"I need to actually talk to you about something" My mom breathes, she seemed nervous and she never seems nervous.

"Whats up?" I asked, nervous as well.

"I want to apologize for being so mean to you. You're my daughter and you don't deserve that" She paused, closing her eyes.

"Its just how your grandma used to treat me, and I still have this anger inside of me about it. I shouldn't take it on you ever. You're a good girl. You made one bad decision. I shouldn't have ever put my hands on you. I just want to start over Emma" She explained, a tear streaming down her face.

"Of course we can start over mommy" I smiled, placing my hand on top of hers.

"I love you honey" She kissed the top of my head before walking out of my room.

A weight was finally lifted off of my shoulders.

"Emma!" Kelly shouted with a big smile on her face as I walked in her house.

"Do you have clothes I can wear? I literally had nothing" I asked, following her up to her room.

I came early to help set up for the party.

"Of course" She nodded, opening up her closet.

I chose a white high waisted denim skirt and a black cropped sweater.

"Thank god I wore my black booties, you're feet are huge" I teased, slipping my booties back on.

"You're just a fucking midget" She laughed, finishing curling her long blonde hair.

"Yeah yeah" I chuckled, heading down stairs to set up.

"Okay so I put all the liquor on the island, all the beer is in the fridge, and water bottles too" I said as she walked down stairs.

"You look so good" I smiled looking at her slim figure in a white sweater dress and tan colored thigh high boots.

"You think?" She asked, doing a spin.

"Easily the hottest one here" I winked, grabbing a beer out of the fridge.

Soon the door knocked and five people turned into fifty.

Music was blaring through the house, body's were pressed against each other, the smell of barf wafting through the house.

"Hey" Calum smiled as he walked outside to where I was.

I needed some air.

"Hi" I smiled back, kicking my legs back on the back porch swing.

"Want half?" He offered me a brownie as he shoved half of it in his mouth.

"Yes" I said too quick, eating it.

"Thats my girl" He winked.

But it didn't make me feel special.

I wanted Harry to say it.

But Harry wasn't here, he was in England, already in 2018.

Probably with a pretty girl he kissed for the new year.

"Five! Four!" I heard from inside.

"Two! One!" Then screams.

"Happy New Year tiny" Calum kissed my cheek, I smiled at him.

I wanted to have Harry as my New Years kiss.

I wondered how he was.

Hopefully he was writing some good songs.

"You good?" Calum asked, looking at me with furrowed brows.

"Yeah" I lightly smiled, hopefully reassuring him.

But I wasn't.

I needed Harry.

But it was better we were separated.
