Chapter 18

I cling to him tightly as he speeds through the forest at an insane speed.

"You get used to the speed." He says as we near a city.

"Where do you go to eat? I mean, you can't just kill people in the middle of the city without getting caught right?"

"Each clan member has a section of town that we hunt in. All sections are in what are considered bad parts of town. My section has a lot of gang activity. A couple rival gangs that fight constantly. So if a gang member goes missing, they just accuse a rival gang and fight them. Makes it easy to hunt."

"What about the bodies? Won't a drained body with holes in the neck just randomly showing up seem suspicious?"

"Not really. You just need to find one of the gangs dumping sites and just put the body there."

"How do you pick your sections?"

"Alex assigns one to you before you go off on your first hunt."

"Oh. Did he tell you mine then? He never told me where and it's my first hunt."

"Oh you're hunting here." He says, setting me down. "Welcome to section 37. My section. Let's pick your first meal."
