3RD POV

FAST FORWARD

In a room, in the broad daylight, you could see two grownup boys wrestling on the bed, bickering that the other one is bigger than the other one. They had been bickering since the morning, just right after they woke up. It started when New started comparing the Elephant's hand that he saw on Instagram to Tay's arm.

"Just admit it that you're fatter than me" Tay said while twisting New's arm

Newwie whined dramatically, pretending to be weak in front of the older boy. He's waiting for Tay to let his guard down so that he can strike again.

"Oww, why do you like hurting me so much" The younger boy complained

Tay was so done with the younger boy beneath him whining and taking advantage of him when he's not looking so he bit his shoulder making the younger boy to pull on the older boy hair. They continued bickering, the other one uses his bite to strike while the boy beneath him pulled on the older boy's hair to defend himself. People who doesn't know them personally might think that they're fighting seriously yet instead they don't know that both of the boy were actually grinning while bickering with each other. It has been like this since they first know each other and it stayed that way even after they got together. They are the visual representation of the sayings "You always fight with the person you love"

They finally stopped fighting when Tay accidentally cracked New's phone screen protector and now New is sulking. He went to sit on the living room, not wanting to talk to Tay and Tay is inside the room feeling guilty, trying to rack up an idea to coax his sulking boyfriend. He went to the living room and sat beside the sulking boy.

"New~" Tay called out to his lover in a soft tone

New, on the other hand was crossing his arms, not looking at Tay. He's actually not that upset, he was being dramatic because he just wanted his boyfriend to coax him

"New~" the older boy called out again

And yet the younger boy didn't respond, he just stayed still.

Tay was getting frustrated at Newwie's silent treatment. So he slapped his arms lightly trying to gain his attention.

"Hin!" Tay said loudly

New turn to glare at Tay for hitting him and turn back to look at the wall beside him.

I want you to soothe me yet you hit me instead. New thought.

"Hin, dont sulk anymore" Tay finally said, rubbing New's arm softly. New was still crossing his arms, not wanting to look at Tay.

Tay wrapped his arms around his boyfriend gently and pulled him towards his chest, hugging the younger boy close to him. Tay then kissed the top of New's head softly, burying his nose on his hair, inhaling his sweet scent. He then took Hin's hand gently and played with his fingers. He isn't a man of word, he still don't know how to coax his Hin after all these years so he just show it through his actions.

New was trying to control his smile at his boyfriend being soft to him.

"Come let's go to the mall and get your screen protector changed" Tay said after a while

"And?" Newwie looked at him, waiting for Tay to continue his sentence

Tay rolled his eyes at him, knowing exactly what New wanted him to say

"And let's go eat at your favourite desert cafe" Tay said while sighing

New grinned cheekily, satisfied with Tay's answer
