She knew what she said few minutes ago left her vulnerable, but she couldn't take it anymore. She didn't care if Tristan found out about anything, that moment wasn't when she was suppose to think. She just wanted to get back at him and embarrass him the way he did her.
She gulped down another cup, allowing the bitter taste sever on her tongue, she grimaced, taking in the taste. She had seen Mona and Ian, but she couldn't interrupt what they were having, it would be rude and selfish if she did. Although she was jealous Ian was getting in between her and her best friend, she could help but considered that she had already interrupted their plans of going on a date on their first special valentine's day. Couples took that seriously and she would be selfish if she did that. She loved Ian and she loved Mona and thought it best they be alone.
That was when she stumbled on a glass of alcohol. She wanted to pass time, having no one now to spend the time with. That was when she noticed someone come towards her.
"What are you doing, getting drunk? " It was Ryder. He looked concerned and she loved how cute he looked when concerned. She smiled to him.
"You're so handsome, Ryd. Can I keep staring at you? " She cackled. His face turned red again and he trued to hide it.
"Aww, you're blushing. You're so cute." She pouted, tugging at his cheek. He tried to comport himself, he pulled her up to her feet and led her out.
"I don't wanna go anywhere. I wanna be with you!" She cried. and Ryder almost thought she was sober.
"I'm right here. Let's get somewhere more quiet, okay? " he pampered, pulling her again.
"Before we go, can I kiss you?" She pleaded. The offer was tempting but Ryder didn't want to take a chance. She was drunk and didn't know what she was doing. He didn't want her to do something she would end up regretting later. It was her first kiss after all, and he wanted it to be special to her and not over some glasses of alcohol. And if they would kiss, he wanted her to be sober so she'll feel what he felt for her through the kiss and not forgetting all about it the next day when it was special to him. He had never seen her drunk and would admit, she was really cute while drunk, the eyes she was making and the pouts she formed with her lips, inviting him... but he resisted the urge.
"Another day." He tried to be uninterested and sweet as possible. He loved her and it was crazy he had to watch at such a vulnerable state. She pushed herself on him and laughed "Don't you want these? " she pointed at her glossy lips seductively and winked.
It all looked funny and he tried to take her away but she didn't budge. Now this was going to be war. He didn't want to create attention and this obviously would create a hell of a scene. He needed help now, from Mona especially. One he didn't know where she was, two he didn't know where he would start looking for her, three, he didn't know if she was sober.
"I will kiss you.. " he started and she smiled, lifting her chin "If only you do as I say. Let's go outside, then we can kiss to our heart's fill." He completed and she frowned.
"Nonsense " she cursed and joined her lips to his. He felt a cold rush down his spine, butterflies forming in his stomach, he sealed the kiss. He sucked on her lower lip, it was so soft, he felt like chewing it. Then she copied the action, everyone on watch, seeing the drama unfold.
She felt a rush in her throat as she released him, releasing the substance to the floor. She was falling and he caught her expertly, she was smiling again but he immediately piggy backed her, leading her out of the hall. Few minutes later, Mona was on her heels trying to catch up with them. The news must've escalated as a worry expression graced Mona's face when she ran after them.
