Max's alarm was going off it was six thirty. He rolled over and shut it off. He didn't feel like going to school today lying in bed sounded so much better. He got up grabbed his clothes and head for the shower. He was usually quick about getting ready. He jellied his hair. And proceeded downstairs to the kitchen where mom was already up cooking chilaquiles. And it smelled so good it had the whole house smelling. He wasn't hungry today. Mom told him he had to eat a little something. So, he reached for a bowl and took out a box of captain crunch his favorite was peanut butter crunch. He finished when everyone started coming down the stairs. He went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth. He was very quiet today. He headed outside and sat down on the front porch. When Emilio came out and sat next to him. He asked max if he was okay and if he was fine. Emilio knew he wasn't fine for the first time he was surprised maybe Max really wasn't a virgin. Emilio always assumed that Max would come and ask him about girls and this kind of stuff. Emilio bumped him on the shoulder and asked if he spotted any knew babes or cuties yet.? Max muttered no that he hadn't had any time to look. That Tatiana had him all bend out of shape. Had his mind doing flips. Emilio said, "Max about her remember when we were drawing in your room our like second night here?" yeah what about that? Answered Max "you had fallen asleep and your phone was going off. It was a text one right after another. I didn't want to wake you. I took your phone because I thought it must have been important. I had no intentions on reading your- before Emilio could finish Max jumped up and yelled you read my messages what the fuck Emilio. He was pissed and stormed off found himself walking to school. Emilio yelled for him to come back he didn't finish. He was just trying to help. He knew Max could be stubborn, and bull headed at times but damn. Max was extremely overwhelmed. Just when he thought it couldn't get any worst. It was hard enough dealing with his crazy EX. But now he has Emilio on his ass and knows about the supposedly baby. Or maybe he didn't. he was contemplating whether he should text him back and ask him what he read exactly. But then decided he would wait until after school. He made it to school it was the first time in weeks that he wasn't running to class with the fear of being late. Slamming his locker closed and headed to homeroom. He had to walk passed the office he glanced over when he seen a whole family inside. Not that he cared or that it was any of his business. He walked into homeroom and took a seat in the far back right corner. He opened his sketch book and started drawing. About ten minutes later the classroom was full of loud obnoxious sophomores. Talking amongst themselves. Until Arianna and the finest cutie Max has seen since moving to town. Arianna approached Mr. Christian and introduced the new girl. And explained that she was going to be shadowing Arianna for the rest of the day. Max and Arianna always sat together next to jasper and Azrael. Mr. Christian told Autumn that she could sit anywhere that there was an open seat. It wasn't long until the bell rang, and everyone was off to history. Everyone told their places. Class was under way, they were learning about Kunti Kinta and just finish watching the ending. Mr. Lorenzo told them about their assignment. It was a group project. Four to a group. Jasper and Arianna wanted to work together. Max volunteered to work by himself. Well more like preferred to work alone. But Mr. Lorenzo said that it wasn't an option. So, Azrael decided to join Jasper and Arianna. Everyone had a group except Autumn. Mr. Lorenzo said for her to partner up with Max. he was speechless. She sat by him during the rest of class time picking out what they were going to do. But she did most of the talking. They both finally agreed on a topic. She gave him her number and told him to text her after school. She wanted to get started right away. Max agreed maybe this was the distraction he needed. Focusing on school and doing fun shit with his friends. He needed to stop feeling like shit and that his life was over. At lunch Arianna Autumn got to the table first. She began to tell Arianna how much she liked the classes and how friendly everyone was. And her partner for the history project was cute but shy. Arianna giggled because she had no idea that they were related. The guys got to the table. Arianna introduced Jasper first as her boyfriend and then Azrael and then finally introducing Max as her twin brother. Her mouth dropped twin—she muttered. Arianna told her how they had twin brother and sister in the middle school. She was shocked she couldn't believe it. The guys hurried and finished their lunch and headed to the band room. Arianna and Autumn sat at the table for the remainder of lunch period. They had so much in common. Arianna knew they were going to be great friends. They talked about music, guys, going shopping, Aéropostale, and L.A. California. The guys got one mini practice session in. Azrael lead the guys back to his locker just before the bell rang to give them their practice schedule. As he closed his locker Arianna and Autumn were heading toward them the second bell rang, they all walked to class together. The rest of the afternoon went by quickly.
