School started at eight o'clock sharp. Mom had already registered them. They did get to pick their classes like they had at their old school. She also had them signed up for co-curricular activities too. The walk to school wasn't to bad. It was just a half a mile down the road once you got back on the main road.

Max: Is it weird to have butterflies in your stomach? I feel like I'm going to puke why didn't I go with Arianna. It would have made me more at ease. I'm so nervous my palms are sweaty, and my heart is racing. The back of my shirt is drenched. My face feels so hot its burning. Probably looks close to a bright red tomato. Maybe very redder. Emilio are you nervous?

Emilio: Nah Brisa and I were pretty used to this. You'll be fine Max. besides didn't you say most of your classes are with Arianna. I'm sure if you get lucky enough you guys might even be able to sit together in class. Just don't be doing that twin thing and get everybody weirded out.

Max: Oh yeah, we do I must have forgot about that. With everything else that's being going on. I've being pre-occupied with other issues that needed my attention.

Nicolas: your pre-occupied? Seriously Max with what your video games. I couldn't even get you to come outside to shoot hoops with me yesterday. You literally stayed locked up in your room all day. I don't care anyways its whatever. Just no if something is bothering you or if you're on something or even going through some guy shit, we both here for you man okay no need to do it on your own. Okay.

Max: thanks, I'll be okay nothing I can't handle.

They approached the Wrightstown Middle School. Emilio and Max gave Nicolas a fist bump and told him to relax blend in and to have a good day. If he needed anything they would be just right across the street. Because that's where the Wrightstown High School was. So, no need for panic. Nicolas walked up to the double doors and into the school. He was as calm as a mouse holding his schedule in his hand without shaking. He did exactly what Emilio told him to blend in. he seen some jocks and started heading toward them over by what looked to be a cafeteria. They had blue Wrightstown jerseys with big white numbers and names on the back. One was laughing while the others were talking and throwing a round a football. Nicolas made it over to the guys and shook their hands. Meanwhile Emilio and Max made their way to the High School they made it to the doors when they heard someone beep the horn. Emilio looked back and it was dad. Emilio told Max to go inside he would catch up with him later. He walked in and It was complete chaos. Kids all over standing in groups. Max was petrified. so, there he was standing in the middle of the entrance hallway complete lost. Didn't quite know where he fit in just yet. He started to dough himself and his worth. A little bit of anxiety kicked in. it took him to a bad place he was familiar with a year ago when he was being seen for early stages of depression. He felt like running out of school and finding a place to hide. It sounded so much better to be alone. After all that's what he really needed. But then he realized that them girls were out their god knows where and that whatever you want to call it was still hunting him. So, school sounded like a safer place to be now anyway. He turned toward the right and was utterly surprised a huge weight lifted from his shoulders. The office and right next to the windows were a row of blue lockers. What a relief it was for Max. and there she was the preppy looking girl. Wearing her new lavender polo shirt and khakis. And her oxford shoes. Mom spend a whole hour curling her hair and doing her make up for today. Finally, no more worries. Arianna seemed to fit in perfect smiling laughing having fun. She happened to glance over and that's when she seen Max. she shouted and flagged for him to come over by her. And there it was the seven fifty- five bells. Kids scattering everywhere. Arianna vanished lost amongst the crowd. Two big guys bumped into Max. his schedule fell to the floor talk about embarrassing. They stopped.
