Coffee Shop Showdown

text came in at nine thirty a.m. Saturday morning

"good morning Max could we work on our history project this morning?"

Max texted back "morning sunshine. Yeah, I suppose it would be fine. At your place?"

"no, I was thinking yours or wherever!"

"give me a minute"

"oh okay"

Max got up from off the couch and went upstairs to Arianna's room. She was already up sitting at her table working on the assignment project. Max knocked as he walked in.

"hey Arianna, I just got a text from Autumn she wants to work on the project. Do you want to tag along to the coffee shop? You don't need to change or anything."

"sure, sounds like fun do you want me to text Jasper to see if he wants to meet us there too. Does ten sound good?"

"yeah, yeah ill text Azrael too" said max

"alright then maybe by the time we're done we can all go out for pizza" she suggested

"yeah cool make a day of it. We both need it."

Max and Arianna both put their stuff inside their backpacks. Left a note for mom on the frig. It was so warm for the month of October. They decided to walk. The twins got up there first. They went ahead and picked out a table. Max got everything set up while Arianna went to the counter to order five large chai tai lattes. The bell dinged as the door to the coffee shop opened. Arianna turned around and glimpsed over. It was Autumn. She rushed over to help Arianna bring the drinks to the table. They sat down.

"I took the liberty of ordering you a latte. She said

I see that thank you. I see you remembered the conversation about lattes and coffee as she giggled.

Well of course. It might not taste as great as the ones back home in L.A. but I'm sure they won't taste that terrible laughed Arianna

Its totally fine girl I'm adjusting to a lot crazier thing then just coffee as she sips her latte.

Look what the devil dragged in smiled Autumn. Jasper and Azrael came in they both look like they jumped right out of bed. Jasper could barely keep his eyes open. Arianna hands him the latte. Azrael too.

No problem from the looks of things maybe I should order you another one.

No, no, I'll be fine one is good. So, shouldn't we get started he asked. Azrael pulls out his phone and tells everyone its time for a group selfie. Everyone smiled. Max and autumn were in an uncomfortable position they got squished together so tight Max's hand was on top of Autumns. Azrael posted the picture to Facebook and tagged everyone. Everyone just sat there staring at him.

What it's the first picture we have of all of us hanging out. I thought it be nice to have a few pictures. He mumbled

Its all good Azrael no problem I guess your right. Said Arianna

But it wasn't all good Sarah was still online and on Arianna's friends list. The picture happened to show up in her new feeds. She couldn't believe it. Max with another girl and a more beautiful girl than Tatiana. She didn't want to admit it, but it was true. She felt that she needed to share what she seen with Tatiana. After all she's carrying Max's baby.

Tatiana what are you up to right now? You will never guess what just showed up in my new feeds like not even five minutes ago?"
