"It's time for you to meet your temporary teammates" said John as we walked towards the training room of the Kingfishers.
The headquarters was huge. Mostly because of the fact that there were many agents in Kingfishers.
John stopped at the front of the door and asked me to go in first.
I felt time slow down as I walked into the room. A gold ninja star was flying towards me. At that moment, I could sense everything. My eyes were trained on the shiruken hurled at me. Without thinking, I caught the star between my index finger and middle finger few centimeters away from my forehead.
My gaze drifted to the individual that threw the shiruken. I wish I could roast him by his physical appearance. Unfortunately, there was not a flaw in sight due to the fact that he was very handsome. Model worthy even.
I kept a scowl on my face and directed my glare at the attractive agent. Then I threw it at the dartboard behind him.
Bullseye
Everywhere was silent for a while.
Suddenly everyone erupted in laughter excluding Jason and I.
Y'all are sick
Jason and I shared a look.
"You should've seen the look on their faces" a blonde girl said while laughing.
John was nowhere to be found.
I guess he wanted Jason and I to...mingle
"Sorry honey, we're usually crazy like that" said a blond haired girl "Amazing reflexes by the way. We're gonna have fun training together"
They almost killed me
Yup they're crazy.
"What if she wasn't fast enough" Jason asked with a ridiculously calm voice.
But I'm always fast enough
"Oh...well she didn't die
" said a brown haired boy "I'm Jacob by the way" he said.
"I'm Veronica" said the blond girl "and that's Sapphire and Ruby" she said pointing to two other girls.
"Max" she said nodding her head towards a green eyed strawberry blonde boy "and lastly Aiden"
Aiden
The Agent that hurled the Ninja star towards me.
"So I'm the leader of this group" said Veronica
Who made you leader
"And we're all high ranking agents...unlike you two so uh we're not sure whether you can handle this mission properly"
The nerve
I decided to keep my mouth shut.
I looked at each of them...they all seemed to be very young gold ranking agents. Older than us, but quite young.
"Are you mute or something, you haven't said a word since you came in" said a slightly accented voice. My gaze drifted towards the direction of the voice and landed on Aiden.
I gave him a blank look and looked forward.
"Nah man" said Max "She's an Elite, we all know how they are"
Everyone laughed
"Yeah they think they're better than everyone else. So uptight" said Sapphire "And they're no fun"
My fist clenched at their words, but Jason put a hand on my shoulder reminding me to calm down.
"Anyway, Aiden will escort you to your quarters" said Veronica as she walked away.

Aiden and I were walking towards my quarters after dropping Jason off.
"I'm sorry for almost killing you" said Aiden "but I must admit, you're very fast"
"It's fine, don't attempt it again" I said coldly
"Oh you can speak. No promises though chica bonita" he said "I transferred here from the Spanish branch a couple of years ago"
Ah I see
"Here's your room. If you need anything, let me know" he said and winked at me before walking away.
I collapsed on my bed and prayed for patience to handle these agents.
