Having Severus at the Manor wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. He talked to me about a lot of things, especially Harry Potter, which was an odd topic for me. I didn't really have much knowledge of the boy, just the basics. He told me that since the attacks at the school had happened and everyone found out that Harry could talk to snakes they believe that Mr. Potter could be Salazars Slytherins heir but he doesn't believe that one bit. He feels like he doesn't even have the will to kill a spider let a lone muggle borns, one of his bestfriends is one as well. Little did Severus know, I knew that Harry wasn't the cause of the attacks I'm sure he'll find out soon enough, I don't want to be the one to serve bad news, especially to Severus.
He was a quiet person when he was deep in thought, almost chilling. You could here a needle drop in his perfect silence. His eyes focused, his breathing even as his emotions lye dormant beneath the surface. He never changed since the day I met him, always quiet, always cautious, always thinking.
It was silent, as I sat in the armchair by the fire place, watching his figure as he stood at the window beside me starring out to the black lake. His eyes trailing the scenery, his breath steady. I couldn't help but think he was handsome. He was in casual cloths which was a very rare sight. Dress shoes, dark jeans, and a button up black shirt, his hair slightly framing his face.
But I was a little sad, He would be leaving tonight, the weekend is almost over, so he had to return to Hogwarts to teach, Lucius would be taking his place.
I sighed as I stood from my chair and walked over to my friend who was still solemly by himself. He tensed slightly as I came up beside him. "Severus, are you alright?" He glanced at me then nodded looking down at his shoes for a moment. I smiled softly, "I know you're lying but ill let it slide for now," he looked up at me through his hair, a small smirk playing at the corner of his lips. I looked out the window again "Did you know, that if you stand on the roof of my Manor, you can see Hogwarts," he tilted his head at me, "really? I didn't realize you lived that close to the school," I smile and nodded, "I didn't really know either until I snuck up top when I was 13, my brother was the one who showed me," he nodded as he thought for a moment, "So you've never been inside the school before?" I shook my head lowly, " When I was a child I was home schooled by my mother and my father was the one training me to join the Dark Lord without my knowledge, I wasn't allowed to go anywhere without my families supervision," he looked saddened by this but only for a moment, before he lifted his hand to me and smirked, "Would you like to?" I couldn't help but smile, "Really?" He nodded as he snapped his fingers, his robes returning. I slowly grab his hand, a light blush gracing my cheeks as he pulls me closer slightly putting one arm around my waist, "Don't let go." He whispered to me, goosebumps grew on my arms as his voice reached my ear, good thing I was wearing a long sleeve. After a moment everything disappeared, a turning sensation in my stomach as I landed on the ground with a tap, I looked up slowly to be met with a giant castle that looked a lot bigger close up. I turned my head to look at Severus, but he had already been starring at me, our eyes locked at that moment, he seemed to be studying me. I, realizing that he was still holding me, blushed emensly but couldn't look away from his onyx eyes watching me, waiting for a reaction, I smiled softly as I lifted my hand slowly and moved a piece of hair out of his face, "There, much better," I said taking a small step back our arms falling slowly, "You should smile more Severus," the statement took him off guard but nonetheless he smirked at me, "Ill keep that in mind."
He released me from his grasp, placing his hand on the small of my back, leading me up the path to the school and through two gaint double doors, "I'm not going to be in trouble for being here am I?," he shook his head, "No, I'm sure Albus won't mind, and its the weekend so most of the children are out doing their own things," I nodded as I looked around the halls, my eyes wide with admiration. This place was beautiful, the structure of the stone was so masterful, simply astounding. As we were walking around Severus pointed out different school classrooms and their uses. My favorite was the Astronomy tower, you could even see the top of my Manor from there. It made my heart swell with its beauty. Just as he was about to show me The Great Hall, An older man with a long beard greated Severus by the door, "Ah Severus, who might this be then?," I couldn't help but admire the little twinkle in his eyes when he talked, as if he already knew something, that of course we do not.
"Albus this is Crimson, an old friend of mine," Albus took my hand and shook it gently, "Wonderful to meet you sir," Severus cut in at that moment, " I was showing her around school ground, she's never been here before," Albus look at me with glee, " Ah, and how do you like it here Crimson?" I smiled, "Its one of the most beautiful places I've seen, simply astounding," he smiled at me and then glanced at Severus, "Severus, would you mind if I have a word with her?" Severus looked confused and then worried, I patted his arm letting him know it was okay, with that he gave a short nod and strodded inside the Great Hall to wait for me. I turned my head to look at Albus, he had a really big smile.
