Chapter Seven: Severus?

A couple weeks have passed since the first time Lucius visited me, I couldn't help but smile with him in mind, he sends me letters every week to check up on me, he says he has a lot to do at the Ministry but when he is able to he'll come by for another visit.

I sat at my desk thinking about him but my mind oddly drifted to Severus, he works at Hogwarts from what Lucius told me. It still vexes me that he would become a teacher, he was never really fond of people let alone children, well he does have a big heart, he might look cold but he really isn't, he hates showing his feelings because of the fact that he cares so much.

Or at least that's what I remember about him, maybe he's changed over the years, who knows. I sighed in frustration as I stood from my desk and grabbed my cloak. Tapping at the window stopped me in my tracks, I turned to meet Lucius's owl, it was a beautiful dark brown almost black color with specs of white.

I smiled as I walked over to the window and opened it to let him in, he perched himself on the window seal, I softly rubbed his head with my fingers, I giggle as he nuzzled his face in my hand, after a minute or two I took the letter off of his leg so I could read it.

     Dearest Crimson,

I apologise for not being able to come see you these past few weeks, it bothers me that you stay in that Manor all by yourself sometimes. But here in about a week I should be able to pay you a visit after I deal with some business with the  Board of Governors, we've been having some problems at the school that need to be addressed, I hope this letter finds you well. Until then.

        Sincerely,
                                  Lucius Malfoy

I finished reading the letter with a smile but what he said bothered me, 'Problems at the school'? Did he mean Hogwarts? That's the only school I could think of. I shrugged as I quickly sat back down and wrote him a quick letter before sending his owl off.

           Dear Lucius

Thank you for the letter, and I know you're a busy man, so take your time with your business, I don't want to be of any Inconvenience to you or your work, I understand if you can't come visit me all the time. Your letters will deal for now. I hope the problem at the school is solved soon, what ever problem it is.
I appreciate the concern for me being alone, but Im used to it so it's alright, just knowing you're there and you thought of me makes me happy, hopefully you can visit soon, I'd really like to see you.

Sincerely,
                              Crimson Peak

After finishing my letter I tied it to the waiting owl and sent him on his way to find his master. I sighed as I stared out of the window. Clouds started to form slowly as raindrops started falling. I closed the window slowly and made my way out the door, and downstairs, "Cloe!" I hollered as I waited by the front door. She came trotting up the stairs from the basement, "Yes mistress?" I fastened my cloak, "I'll be back soon I have to run to diagon Ally for some ingredients for my potions I'll trust you to watch over the Manor," she bowed her head, "Yes mistress, have a safe trip, I'll have dinner ready for your return," I nodded and smiled as I turned and walked out the front door closing it behind me.

I decided to fly to diagon alley today because I loved the weather at the time. I didn't fly to fast as I wanted to enjoy the light rain as it fell on my face with light taps.

When I finally made it there I landed a bit away as to not disturb anyone of their errands. I walked through diagon alley looking for the shop known as Apothecary, which was lined with ingredients, slimes, dried herbs and powders. Once I found it I walked in swiftly and walked to the back corner section to look for what I need.
