Chapter Thirteen: What's happening to me

(Authors notes: The picture up above 👆 is her vampire form but since she is a wizard as well she is able to walk in the sun and does not soully depend on blood, eating human food does satisfy her until the urge gets too strong. Enjoy the read.🐍)

        The light tap of rain drops on my window woke me. I yawned slightly and looked up at the ceiling. My stomach was turning at an unusual pace as I sat up from the bed and stood. But in doing so my eye sight became dizzy and I stumbled to the bathroom and vomitted in the toilet. "Ugh..." I moaned as I stood up slowly to wash my face but stopping in my tracks as I looked down at my hands, they were almost paper white. I slowly looked up to meet not my blue and brown eye but bright white eyes starring back at me, my hair as white as snow reaching past my waist. I didn't know what to think as I starred at my reflection in awe and horror at the same time.

       I didn't want to leave my room. I had no idea what was going on. And I was so hungry I felt like my stomach was eating my insides.
        
          Soon I heard a knock at the door, "Crimson? Are you alright, you haven't come out all day," Lucius said from outside my door. I starred out the window as I beckoned him in, "Come in Lucius." I could tell he hesitated as he stepped in, I heard a low gasp, "What in the world," I turned to him awaiting him to run but he just starred, "Lucius, I cant go anywhere. I cant leave this room." He shook his head, "No no its alright I'm sure we can figure it out," I started getting upset, "Alright?! Its not going to be alright Lucius, I can smell your blood from here, I can here every bird outside and my hair is whiter then yours!! Its not going to be alright!," he flinched slightly and I sighed, "Sorry..," he nodded, "Its alright..but I think we should send an owl to Severus," I nodded and turned to my window and whistled for my Owl and wrote Severus a quick letter about the situation and sent him off to find Severus.

        Me and Lucius waited in the living area for about three hours before Cloe announced Severuses arrival, "Mistress, Sir Severus is here," I nodded her off, she smiled softly at me despite my changes and it warmed my heart.
        Severus stepped in and looked at me for a moment, "I see your Vampire blood has started to take affect on you." I nodded lowly as I swallowed my dry throught, his blood was way stronger then Lucius's. It made me kind of worried, my horror was all over my face as I could tell Severus sensed my nervousness. "Crimson you might not like what I have to tell you but if you want to turn back into your original self again you need to feed." I swallowed again, "Does it have to be a human?" I said quietly, "No, as long as its living but it has to be bigger then a dog to get the substantial amount of blood you need to hold off your thirst for about a month before you have to feed again," I nodded sighing as I starred at the floor. They both shifted as I stood and walked to stand in front of the window, my mood mellowing as the situation became grave to me. "I'll wait till nightfall...then I'll go, I'd rather nobody come with me but if you feel you must, you may..." I felt their eyes on me, it felt like fire against my skull, and then I heard it...I wonder what shes thinking, I hope she'll be alright~   it sounded like Severus was whispering to himself but he wasn't speaking out loud, then I heard Lucius's voice, -this must be horrible for her, I've got to cheer her up some how-  I turned around slowly and narrowed my eyes at them, they both glanced at each other and then back at me, ~her eyes are beautiful~ Severues voice whispered, it was then I realized that I could hear their thoughts, I blushed emensly and turned around quickly, "Are you alright?" Lucius asked, I turned to look at them again, "I know you two are skilled at blocking your minds from others so I would prefer you do it around me because I don't want to invade your minds on accident, because at this moment I can hear your thoughts," they both blushed a bright pink and shifted their gaze from me and I couldn't help but giggle, they looked at me from the corner of their eyes, "Guys its okay! There's no need to get embarrassed, I am flattered that you two worry about me so much," they said nothing as I shifted towards them and grabbed both of their hands, they where tense slightly but calmed after a moment, "You two are my best friends, I wouldn't trade you guys for anything in the world, but I'm promising you two that I'll be alright, I'm stronger then I look you know," Lucius smiled, "Oh we have no doubt about that, we just hope that you'll come to us if anything happens or if you're feeling down, We care about you Crim."
I smiled at my friends, "I wouldn't want to go to anyone else," Severus Smirked then, and may I say it made him look handsome, but as soon as the thought crossed my mind my thirst became slightly stronger, his blood smelled like roses, Lucius's smelled like lavender.

          The evening came slow as we all sat in the living area. I was playing the piano as the men sat and listened while chatting amongst themselves.
           About 15 more minutes had passed and I started hearing hooves hitting the forest floor outside I could smell the deer from a mile away.
        I shot up from my seat ignoring the questionable looks I got and ran out the door and through the front door. My feet patted the ground fast as I ran following the smell of the deer that now was not too far. His heart was pumping fast as he ran through the dark forest. When I finally caught up with it, my thirst for its blood blinded my thoughts and my claws grabbed onto its back causing it to squil in pain as I sunk my teeth into its neck paralyzing it. It slowly shrunk to the ground, its heart rate dropping to a very slow pace.
         Tears stained my face as I starred down at the creature I just killed, my hands covered in its blood. I know I needed it to survive but it didn't make it any less wrong.
         After a moment I felt hot breath on my back as I sat starring at the ground, I slowly turned to be face to face with a very beautiful wolf, its fur a mixture of black and grey its eyes as white as mine.
           It slowly advanced to me gently sniffing me and then bowing to me, I smiled softly as I scratched its ear, at that moment two figures emerged from the bushes , surprise all over their faces at my blood covered face and nails.
          I sighed as I stood to face them, but the wolf nudged its nose into my hand again wanting me to pet it, Severus stepped forward to talk, "Where did you find that wolf?" I shrugged, "He found me," he nodded as he looked down at the wolf who was now starring Severus in the eyes in interest, "I do believe you now have a familiar Crimson. He's convinced to stay at your side. I smiled as I looked down at the wolf who wagged its tail at me with happiness. We all traveled back to the mansion quickly. When we made it inside I quickly ran upstairs to get cleaned up. The blood under my nails had already became dry and crusty.

        After I finished I walked back down stairs, my wolf at my side. I decided to name him Prince. Because that's exactly what he is to me.
        The men were waiting for me in the parlor, I smiled when I passed the mirror next to the door, as my appearance and turned to normal.
       I smiled and waved "Miss me?" They smiled at me with adoration, Lucius ruffled my hair, "Of course," I giggled as I sat down in my chair by the fire and crossed my legs to look at them. They both joined in their own chairs. As we sat and chatted about nothing important and Prince at my side I felt grateful for these two. They might be different in their own ways and have different issues and beliefes, but they still have love in their hearts and their own people that they fight for and I'm glad I'm one of them. I have no idea what I would do without these two. I love them both very much.
