Watch out guys, this is going to be short...

POV: Lexi
Driving in my best friends brother's car was really weird, but what was more unusual was that I was wearing his clothes. I'd started to get anxious about the fact that the back of my shirt I was wearing said William McCarthy.
When me and Callie hung out at night, we didn't care too much about what we looked like because there was no boys around-I mean then again for me Will was right at the stinking house.
Yes, before the little dance, I've always liked Will-he was a big guy with a big heart, how cliche that sounded. But I never attempted, probably because of age and the fact that I was best friends with his sister.
Jake Conners asked me out to Prom, which I went to get some clout on the freshmen. But instead, he totally stood me up and I felt pathetic. What story could I tell my freshmen friends then?
But my intentions and eyes changed when I started to see Will coming up to talk to me. He didn't even know my name, which was very understandable because I probably talked to him once.
Anyway, he still flashed his sweetness to me, even though I wasn't going to this prom for the right reason. It wasn't he felt sorry, he felt obligated to treat me with respect unlike Conners did.
Finally, we arrived at the McCarthy's house. Will grinned.
"Do you like my driving skills?"
I rolled my eyes.
"I'll take that as a yes," he says laughing.
We get out of the car and approach the doorsteps. I knew this house somewhat, because I've been here a lot of times. Will gets his key out of his pocket and unlocks the door. Opening it, his smile starts to droop into a frown.
"Hey, can we hang out, another time?" He asked.
"I'm sorry, I have to ask Callie if it's okay you know.."
"Oh, I get it. Friends before guys. Like Pals before Gals." he says, giving me a soft smile.
"So, um, Bye," Will says awkwardly while putting his hands in his pocket.
I wave goodbye to him and he walks towards his room. I walk the opposite direction, to Callie, who may be asleep during this time.
Because I'm a good friend, I barge through the door.
"BITCH" she mumbles, "I SWEAR TO GOD"
Finally, her eyes open. She sees me and starts laughing. But it took a couple of seconds, my sudden wardrobe alarmed her.
"How did you get that shirt?" she asked already knowing the answer to her question.
I couldn't lie to her. She was my best friend and I was inclined to tell her everything.
"Will," I sigh, getting the secret off my chest.
"My brother, Will?" She says shocked and surprised.
"Yes him."
"No way."
"You are dating my brother?" she says angrily, "And oh you didn't tell me."
"No," I pause for a second, "It's just a long story."
"Tell me." she says with a certain gleam in her eyes.
"Fine."
"Remember when I told you I got a prom date?"
"Um yes with Jake Conners" she pauses for a couple of moments, "my brother hates that kid."
"He stood me up."
Callie was speechless. She was always the one who praised how beautiful I was. Sometimes I shrugged it off.
Suddenly, her face took a different room.
"WILL!" She screamed, wanting him to come into the bedroom.
"No, Callie, he didn't do anything—"
Suddenly, Will came in the room. His tall figure almost was the same height as the top of Callie's closet. I looked up a little bit and he changed his outfit that he was wearing at prom. Now, he was wearing comfortable clothes, pants, and a shirt, that outlined his muscles. His hair was messy and ruffled but he still looked good.
I was realizing I was checking him out. I stopped and saw him doing the same to me, and suddenly I felt self conscious.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Callie becomes enraged, "What did you do to her!"
"Why did you call me out here?" he said, focusing his attention on me.
"You have to ruin her life more-you knew damn well Conners stood her up-but what did you do? Oh use her because she was vulnerable!"
"Callie, I didn't use her.." he said seriously.
"Then what did you do?"
"I saw her alone and asked her to dance with me after she told me Conners stood her up."
Callie looked at him strangely, but he continued.
"After that one dance, I knew she needed to hangout with you, so I drove her to our house and lent her my clothes because she's not going to hangout with you with a dress on and makeup."
Callie stared at her brother like she's never seen him before. She would always shit on him about how he treated girls, like objects apparently, without value. But at the same time, she's never seen him around girls, just his buddies. Callie would talk about how he's never brought a girl to the home and that he'd always keep his relationships with girls a secret.
"Will, I'm sorry I assumed the worst," I thought she was about to cry.
"It's okay, I forgive you sis," he puts a hand to his heart.
Callie starts to smirk.
"Lexi, I need to go to sleep right now," she smiles.
"But why, I don't want to go home just now," I protested.
"You can hangout with Will," she wiggles her eyebrows and smirks.
Will glances at me, considering the offer. Meanwhile, my cheeks were inflamed. This was going to be so awkward.
"We can play video games," he offers.
"But I don't know how to.."
"I taught you how to slow dance right?" he pauses, "so I can teach you how to play video games."
Will walks over to the door.
"Come with me."
Callie starts smirking at me and thumbs up, as in approval. I say bye to her, and hopefully she has a good sleep, even though I knew she wasn't sleeping.
I walk over to the living room and sit on the couch. He finds space really close to me, almost brushing my shoulder.
"Fuck. I'm sorry. I'll give you space."
"No its okay." I say.
He turns on the game using the controller. He goes up and grabs a second one, handing it to me.
"Okay, what game do you want to learn first?"
"CoD," I say, "I've always wanted to beat my brother in it."
He turns his Profile as offline, but Lake still invites him to a party. At a second, a message popped up.

DestroyEmLakes: why did you leave early to prom?! All soccer players had to go to the after party.

I stare up at him.
"Was I the reason why you left, even though you had friends there and people to hangout with?" I asked softly.
"Yes," he pauses, "You were feeling sad and I had to get you to my house, but not without a dance."
I smile. "Will, thank you..."
"Don't thank me, a girl like you, beautiful and gorgeous should have a date and somebody to dance with."
I started to slightly blush. He smiled as he noticed.
"Okay let's play."
That whole entire night, he taught me how to play COD, and was so supportive too.
I didn't believe Callie allowed this (hanging out with him) to happen.
And thank god she did.
