We walked out to the garden, his arm around me, silent. We continued walking further into the maze of shrubbery. We came to a wall of green.

"Dead end?" I asked.

"Not quite." He walked to the center of the shrubs and held out his hand, brushing away some of the leaves. Underneath was a panel.

"What's that?"

"This, is an access point."

"Access to what?"

"You'll see." The panel cover was flipped up and he pressed his hand against it. A needle shot out, going into his hand. Quicksilver flinched. It retracted and an automated voice spoke.

"Access granted."

"I wish it would go a little faster."

"Of course you do." I half heartily joked. He smiled at me. His fingers laced through mine. A smile spread across my face. He leaned over and touched his nose to mine. I heard the door click. It slid open. I smiled wider and looked toward the doorway.

"Are we going to find out what's inside? Or am I going to have to find out by myself?" He pulled me towards the door way and we walked inside. It was really dark.

"What is this place?"

"A lounge."

"I don't buy it."

"Why not?"

"You wouldn't have to get stabbed to get into a lounge."

"You caught me."

"Quicksilver," I turned around to face him,"What's your real name?"

"Pietro Maximoff."

"That's really cool." I smiled.

"Harmony Rose Levesque." I laughed.

"Yeah....where's the rest of the room?" He smirked.

I saw a blur of silver and suddenly, Pietro yanked his hand way from another control panel. He seethed.

"Truly, is there not a better way to insure security around here?" I walked over to him, anxious to see the other room. He looked down at his hand. I gently lowered his wrist so that I could see. "It's fine." He said, putting his hand in his pocket. I looked in his eyes and raised an eyebrow. "Seriously I'm fine."

"Let me form my own opinion." I insisted. I cupped my hands around his injured hand and looked at it. His hand was bleeding pretty badly, he had two deep puncture wounds where the needle had been. I gently wiped away the blood and thought for a second. How could I heal him? I let go of his hands and, with his where I had left them, I quickly sliced open the palm of my hand and placed it against his wound. He flinched. I took my hand away, because it had healed. We both watched as our blood fused together and his wounds closed up.

"Thanks." He said, leaning over, kissing my forehead. I smiled.

"You're welcome." He stepped a little closer to me, making my heart rate speed up. His brown eyes softened, he delicately placed a hand on my waist. I looped my arms around his neck, stroking some hair out of his face as I did so. Pietro placed his other hand behind my neck, and leaned his forehead against mine.

"Now, you aren't gonna go a million miles an hour on me right?" I whispered.

"Haha, nah." He whispered back. To prove his point, he touched his lips to mine, really slowly. I kissed him back. He pulled me a little closer. His grip tightened and he pushed me against the wall behind us.

"I thought, that you told me, you weren't going go a million miles an hour." I whispered, a smile in my voice.

"I didn't. I went a hundred and fifteen."

I pulled away and looked at him. He smiled. I laughed and buried my face in his chest.

Suddenly, his hold on me became stronger. I alarmingly looked up. Pietro's eyes widened.

"Rose, the door. It didn't open."

We held hands as we approached the door. It still read "Access Granted" but the screen was stuck like that. Pietro attempted to push it in, but it didn't budge. I let go of his hand. My claws on both hands unleashed and I pushed them through the metal door. I pulled down so that I created an upside down V shape. I body slammed it in. A thin layer of ice covered the entire room.

"Oh my gosh." I reached for Pietro's hand. His fingers laced through mine. We ducked through the improvised door and looked around. I felt a squeeze on my hand and I looked over. Pietro was staring at some hand prints lining the walls. They were left in blood.

"The needle, iceman. This is where he was taken." THis voice was hoarse.

"There's a note." I observed. Pietro did his QuickSilver thing and read the note to me.

"Dear Charles Xavier,

You have been hiding from us for far too long. So, we came to you. Hope you like your students chilled.

Sergeant Major William Stryker

We've got to get this to the professor, now. Come on!"

He picked me up bridal style and in a flash we were out of the secret room and back to the school. We ran into Logan.

"What happened?!"

"Where's Xavier?!"

"On Cerebro-"

"We found a clue! A trail that could lead us to Iceman!"
