Lauren and Ally situated themselves at the table. Ally had a glass of chocolate almond milk, and Lauren was drinking a glass of honey tea, that Ally made her. She was reluctant to drink but, Ally assured her she didn't poison it.
Lauren feels weird having Ally sit across her. "Can...can you sit with me?" Lauren asks and Ally us confused. "I am Laur?"
Lauren slides her chair away from the table, and pats her lap. Ally laughs and nods, "I'm just gonna sit, nothing else we have got talk." Ally situated herself on Lauren's lap, and Lauren wraps her arms around Ally, resting her chin on her wife's shoulder. Ally plays with Lauren's hair, "How come you don't love me anymore?"
Lauren whips her head and looks into Ally's eyes, the hurt and exhaustion very present. "Ally, do you really think I don't love you? I've always loved you."
"Then why have you been running away from me? From the twins?"
Lauren let's out a shaky breathe, not wanting to cry. "It started a month after we got married and you told me you were pregnant...I started having recurring nightmares about Lucy."
Ally is silent, but is understanding. "They kept coming back every night, and my old habits started coming back...the drinking, the number swapping, the bar hopping, the weed, the unhealthy eatin-"
Ally shushed Lauren and glares, "Number swapping?"
Lauren cringes, she realizes that she should've left that part out. "I uhh, Als it's not as bad as it sou-"
"Not as bad as it sounds? Lauren are you kidding me?!" Ally is furious, and yanks her self out of Lauren's lap barely standing above her. "So what you're trying to tell me is you were seeing other people?"
Lauren shakes her head, "No Ally, I didn't see other people, I just." Lauren was cut off by a loud ping from her phone. The couple both looked at the device, and saw it was a text message.
Halsey - Busy 2nite? Same place, same time?
Ally crosses her arms, and stares Lauren down. Lauren's resting her chin into her hands, as she tries to register what to say next without causing Ally to set her on fire. "Okay, I can explain this if you let me." Lauren says.
She's positive when she saw Ally's hand go up, she thought she was gonna receive a slap, but instead Ally grabs the phone, and dials the number. It went straight to voicemail, so Ally leaves a message. "Hi this is Lauren's wife, Ally, please never text or call this number again or I will send a raging Polynesian to hunt you down, thanks have a blessed day." Ally tosses Lauren's phone on the table, and walks to her room.
Lauren is in shock, but can't help to get a little turned on by Ally being overprotective. Before following her wife into the room, Lauren looks up to God, and sends a silent prayer. "Ally come here, please."
"No." She hears from within the room.
"Baby, I know you don't wanna hear me talk but." Lauren stops talking as she feels one of their bed pillows hit her face. "No dummy, I want to hear you talk, but it's come to my attention that you have other women to talk to so go talk to them."
Lauren chuckles, "Actually I don't I've never responded to that girl or the other ones they were just stupid actions I did while I was drunk, but I want to talk to my wife."
Ally is underneath the covers, but she mumbles, "I'm not your wife."
Lauren goes over to her, and hovers her, bringing the sheet down a little, "Actually you told that one girl you were, so by my word and yours, you are my wife." Ally looks at her, and brings her down to give her a kiss.
