Mrs. Jauregui

Chapter 9

  Lauren opens her eyes, and she's blinded by  a bright light.

'Fuck, I died.' She thinks to herself, then she feels something in her penetrating her throat. 'Fuck, I ended up in hell.'

But now feels an intense amount of pain. Trying to speak out, her eyes burst wide open and she immediately rips out the tube out of her mouth and takes in her surrounding.

There is a bunch of people telling her to calm down, and breathe. But she can't. She has no idea what's going on. "Please Miss Jauregui, relax and breathe!" A middle aged man came near her, and settled her back into the bed. Lauren did her best to calm down, but there was so many things going through her head. "Where's..muh- my.. wife and kids?" Lauren tries hard to talk, but her throat is drier than a desert.

"Lauren!"

Lauren whips her head, and sees her pregnant wife in the hallway, crying. The nurses go to Ally, and tell her something. Lauren guesses they told her she can come in, because Ally practically runs to Lauren.

Holding out her hand, Lauren latches onto Ally, who gives her a big kiss. Pulling away, Ally cups Lauren's face, "I thought I lost you." Ally smiles, as she is still crying.

"You'll never lose me, I promise."

After Lauren woke up, the moved her to a room out of ICU. Ally had called everyone to let them know she was awake and doing better. Ally was currently waiting for everyone outside of Lauren's room. She was watching Honey and Lauren talk, and giggle. Honey was drawing pictures on Lauren's cast as well.

"Dinah's butt isn't that big."

"But Tia Mila always tells her to move her big ass, mommy."

Ally laughs, and it makes Lauren look at her. Holding her good arm out, Ally goes to snuggle up with Lauren. "I don't think a family of five can fit on this bed." Ally says. Honey giggles, and Lauren kisses the top of her wife's head. "I think we should invest in a bigger bed then for the house." Lauren adds.

"Between the twins, the dogs, us and honey...oh yeah a much bigger bed."

"I totally forgot we got dogs, are the okay?"Lauren asks.

Ally nods her head, "Yes I've asked Dinah's dad to feed them and take them out this morning."

Their attention moves to the door as it opens.

"Hey bitch, you ever pull a stunt like that again, I'll kill you." Dinah cries out, and Ally moves so Dinah could hug her friend. Dinah sobs into Lauren's neck, and Lauren holds her too, trying not to be emotional. Normani walks in with flowers, "I'm so glad to see you again Lolo."

Dinah pulls away to let Normani hug her, "I'll make sure i have my side kick next time." Lauren laughs, and then sees her cousin standing behind Normani. "You know, you got your own time slot on the 11 o'clock news prima." Camila hugs Lauren, is letting the tears flow. "Did the baby make it?"

"Why don't you ask her?" A voice from the hallway was heard.

Lauren sees it's the woman she saw before she went inside. "Hi, I'm Alissa Ashley." Alissa kneels next to Lauren, and shows her the baby. "Maraya, this is your hero." The baby coos, as her brown eyes meet Lauren's green eyes. "She's beautiful, I'm so glad she's okay."

"I'm so glad you're okay, I'm thankful you're alive Hun, that was very brave." Alissa hugs Lauren. "We should be going, thank you Ally for calling me." Alissa hugs Ally, and leaves with Maraya. "Where is she living now?" Lauren asks.

"She is staying at our old house, I told her she could stay there along as she wanted." Ally tells her. Normani sits in the chair, and pulls Dinah onto her lap. "We would've brought Gordon but he was tired from softball today, he's been so worried that he has done nothing but focused himself on T Ball."
