Luke’s POV

“Well, how was that?” I asked, pulling up the zip on my jeans.

“Pretty mediocre” the blonde stranger replied.

“Don’t lie, I made you orgasm over four times in those thirty minutes” I said cockily.

“Shut up” she replied

“Do you always fuck customers?” I asked

“No” she said quietly, blushing.

“Oh so you just couldn’t resist me huh?” I taunted

“Please shut up”

I obeyed.

“Don’t you have a girlfriend or something?” she asked

“No, what makes you say that?” I asked, surprising myself with how defensive I was being.

“Not to inflate your already massive ego, but you are an attractive guy, surely you have a girlfriend” she replied nonchalantly

“Well I don’t, alright?” I said, not meaning to sound so aggressive.

“Okay, okay, it was only a question” she replied.

“I’ve got to head off now,” I said, walking towards my car

“Okay, see you around stranger” she replied

“Luke” I said loudly

“What?” she responded.

“Don’t call me stranger, my name is Luke” I said, about to get into my car

“Well see you around Luke” she called

I got in my car and thought to myself “you won’t ever see me around”, I started the engine and began to drive out of the petrol station, before my phone started ringing.

Michael.

I pulled over quickly and answered the phone.

“Michael what’s wrong?” I asked

“Nothing” he responded.

“Why’d you call?” I asked, starting to get agitated

“I was just at the supermarket –“

“So?” I interjected

“So, I saw Kat” he responded

My heart started to race.

“What about Katarina?” I asked

“She looks pretty sick man, like not hangover sick but like really sick,” he said

“Michael you aren’t making an sense at all”.

“I was thinking of taking some food to her house, but I don’t know her address” he replied.

“So why are you calling me?” I asked.

“Come on man, don’t be a dick. Tell me where she lives” he pleaded.

“Do you honestly think she wants visitors when she’s sick? You’ll see her around campus on Monday” I replied.

“I guess your right. I’ll talk to you later” he said, sighing loudly before ending the call.
