Tension could be perceived at home; the twins didn't speak to each other at all and the only time they could endure being around one another was during training sessions which lasted about four hours. This time it was early in the morning, seven a.m to be precise and the twins were fiercely battling against each other. Shadows and fire danced in between them, Ivan was still recovering from his wound, but he decided to keep the training going, time was ticking and the fact that Emilio was constantly exposed to his greatest enemy as he had the unbelievable luck for him to be his father-in-law. They couldn't allow themselves to lose time, disagreements had to be put aside as they stood their ground on this woods, but to a certain extent, they weren't doing so as now, they were both using their anger to battle, trying to exude such poisonous emotion, training would not come to an end until one or both of them was bruised or had a minor bleeding injury. Somehow Emilio got a grip on Ivan's collarbone and attested a incredible hook onto his brother's face to have him push him off and use his body weight to drop him to the floor, he hit Emilio over and over and the boy (as part of his reflexes) hit his brother's side with his foot, taken back by the force of such action, Ivan stopped in his tracks and fell on the floor, the air in his lungs was taken away with such hit and his wound started to bleed.
Emilio quickly crawled to his brother's side and lifted the spot of his shirt that was covered in blood, he inspected the wound, it was purple, bruised and a small gap could be seen in his skin, that's where the blood was coming from but by the looks of it this was a recovering wound that had been opened up.
"What the fuck? Ivan what is this?" He questioned his brother as a knot was enclosing his throat
"We can both have secrets, can't we?" He whispered
"Are you fucking kidding me? This could kill you or all I know! What is this?!" Ivan sat up with his brother's help, the bags under his eyes now looked red, his skin was full of blemishes and seemed fragile.
"Get. It. Off. Me" he hissed
"What do I do?" He panicked
"Your infrared vision, get it out and don't stop until it's done" Emilio could barely understand his brother's commands, but he was in serious pain and was doing a great effort to keep himself whole, he took a deep breath and closed his eyes so he could switch visions, there it was again, the bright colors and the shifting aura around his twin, the silhouette as a whole was a mess and he did his best to reshape it, take it back to its natural form, but this time it was harder, it was as if the rays within his body had coped such shapeshifting mechanism but part of him was rejecting this change. As he did his best to mold the silhouette, his brother was screaming, it was obvious he was trying to hold back but it was an impossible task at this point. He was kicking and holding onto the grass for dear life, Emilio couldn't see the tears that fell from his eyes and rolled down his cheeks, but he could undoubtedly sense them
"Please hold on Ivan" he begged and his younger brother nodded as he bit onto his bottom lip, when done reshaping Ivan's silhouette, the amount of heat was so intense that Emilio was pushed back, tired he panted and blinked to get rid of the infrared vision, his brother's eyes half closed and he ran towards him to cup his face in his hands, his eyes would shot onto the back of his head from time to time which made Emilio worry.
"Ivan say something. Please talk to me" at hearing his older brother's voice, his eyes focused again on him, but he didn't seem able to open them fully just yet
"You did it. You're ready" he mumbled smiling as much as it was possible for him at that moment. Emilio frowned at his words but did not get a chance to ask him what he meant as he passed out in his arms, he didn't respond after that but his heart was still beating at a steady pace, not knowing what to do he called his parents. Minutes later, Emilio heard their car park on the woods and closing the doors. To guide them he started calling them out at the top of his lungs. Ivan's torso was laid on his and his face was rested on his shoulder, and Emilio could only hold his waist to give his limp body some sort of support. When their parents came they helped to pick up Ivan and get him inside the car. Their mother was heartbroken at seeing her little baby in such state.
