Before either of them could say anything, a loud slap sounded out in the quiet bleachers and both of them couldn't help but widen their eyes.

In front of them stood Jae, Ali's sister, and her hand was still raised. The redness of her palm matched the mark now blossoming on Ali's cheek.

"What are you doing with my fiancé?!" Her shrieking voice was attracting attention from the ones still doing the sporting event, and it distracted them from doing whatever activity they were doing before.

Some who were freer than others were now gathering around them.

"While I'm working, you are here flirting with my fiancé!" she repeated the word a second time so everyone would know who he belonged to.

Ali scoffed. Seonghwa was his own person and not a thing to be owned and controlled.

"Are you Ok?" Seonghwa appeared flustered, and he held a hand to her cheek to inspect the wound.

"Seonghwa!" Jae shouted his name and stamped her foot.

Ali moved his hand aside and walked towards her sister, being careful this time when she went down the bleachers. She raised her hand, and another slap sounded out, making her sister stumble back a bit.

"Seonghwa is not yours to own, or a toy you can control." She then leaned forward and said into her sister's ear, so only she could hear her, "I know what you did, and what the family tried to cover up. I'd be very careful if I were you. And remember, when the time comes, I wonder who Seonghwa will choose. The one who truly loves him, or the one who is obsessed with him."

She then stood up and reassured Seonghwa that she was fine, then she moved past her sister and went to her next class.

As she walked, she lowered her head and tried to hide the tears that were falling.

One day all of this will be over and her sister will get what's coming to her...

"Are you alright?" Seonghwa now stood in front of Jae and inspected the wound that her sister had left.

His concern for Ali pissed off Jae, and she slapped his hand away.

"I don't need you to worry about me! Just wait and see what I do to that bitch!"

"Jae!" Jae stepped back a bit when she heard him raise his voice and the darkened expression on his face. She had never seen him this angry before. "Even if you don't get along with Ali, she is still your sister. How can you treat her like that?"

"I'm going home." Seonghwa turned on his heel and left Jae behind.

The door slammed open, and Seonghwa entered. The scowl on his face had deepened. He shrugged off his coat and slumped onto the sofa.

Why was he so angry?

That anger grew when he remembered the expression Ali had after Jae slapped her. It was shock mixed with disdain.

He didn't know what was going on between the sisters, and why there was so much hatred there. But he didn't want to be stuck in the middle.

And another thing that confused him was why was he so angered at the sight of seeing Ali hurt, but he felt nothing when her sister had the same thing done to her?

When he looked at Ali, what was the feeling he felt exactly?
