I Dream Of You

Chapter Thirteen

Cher would be lying if she hadn't been ignoring twitter, and well, instagram for the past couple of days due to the picture that had been posted then deleted by Pauly. She truly didn't want to see the comments from the people who had seen the picture while it was up. She didn't want to see any negative comments there may have possibly been. Although she was also sure, that most of the comments and tweets were just trying to figure out if she was actual pregnant.

She was currently was by herself at the house, since Andy was out doing things that needed to be done that day. She had her hand resting on her stomach as she sat down, her phone in her other hand. She turned on the tv to find a movie she would possibly want to watch. She flipped through channels for a few minutes before turning it back off, since she didn't find anything. After sitting there for a few moments, she decided that she couldn't ignore twitter forever. She briefly tried to talk herself out of it, but she couldn't.

She also thought maybe she should wait until Andy got back, since it somewhat involved him as well, but she decided against that too. She unlocked her phone and opened up twitter. She scrolled through her feed for a moment before she came across the first tweet that someone mentioned her in. It was at that moment that realized that she should have stayed off twitter for a little while longer, not even seeing who the tweet was actually from. The tweet read, "Hey @cher, Are you pregnant? That picture would sure say so."

Another read, "If Cher can be pregnant at 72, then anything is possible."

A third one read, "I feel like we shouldn't believe that Cher is pregnant until she confirms it."

Another read, "Is Cher pregnant? Who's the father?"

The last one she looked at was just a screen shot of the picture that Pauly had accidentally posted before it got deleted. She could see some of the comments that were on the post. One was, "Is it me or does Cher look pregnant?"

Another was, "Is that a baby bump? It sure looks like it."

Another comment was, "OMG am I dreaming? Cher is pregnant!!!!"

The last one she read was, "OMG Cher is pregnant!"

Sure, there was other comments that were wishing them a happy new year because that's what the post was technically supposed to be about. Although, those comments didn't stand out compared to the comments that she read.

Although, everything they were saying was true, she didn't know if she wanted to admit to the public that she was pregnant. There was things she was alright with admitting to the public, but there were also things that she wanted to keep private. She was beginning to think this one of the things she wanted to keep private, especially because her unborn daughter was still innocent to the world around them.

She decided that she was going to shut down the comments and tweets that were happening. She got back onto twitter and started a new tweet, "Are you guys crazy? I'm not pregnant. I'm a 72 year old woman. Picture was taken a weird angle." {Imagine some emojis in this}

She got off twitter and placed her hand where the baby was kicking. She smiled when heard a car lock. She said, "I believe Daddy's home, let's go see."

She got off the couch and walked out the front door. She smiled when she saw that it was Andy who had just there. She walked over to him and brought him into a hug before she kissed his lips. She felt him kiss her back and she soon pulled away for air. She said, "Hi baby."

He smiled, "Hi, mi amor."

That morning that had talked about how they wanted to be able to be out in public together, even if she still was hiding the pregnancy. If they wanted to be out in public together without drawing any suspicion, then they would have to announce their relationship. She looked at him and said, "I thought of a way we could announce our relationship."

He smiled once more, "What was it?"

She said, "I could just put the couple of pictures of me sitting on your lap that Pauly took the other day on twitter. She sent them to me earlier. We look so happy in the pictures that people will get it."

He kissed her lips before he said, "That's a great idea."

They went inside together and were relaxing together while Cher posted the pictures of them on twitter. Only after cropping her stomach out so they wouldn't be able to see her bump. They were happy when the majority of the responses to their relationship were positive. She couldn't help but read some of the replies on her post. The first she saw was, "CHANDY is a reality!!! 🎉🎊"

She found it kind of funny that they already had a nickname for their relationship. Another was, "Ruby and Fernando are a real-life couple ❤"

Another read, "Cher and Andy together at last!!!"

Another said, ""They're messing with us, it can't be. If it is YAAY"

The final one she read was, "Are Cher and Andy Garcia together?"

She decided to reply to that one. She replied, "Yes ❤❤❤"
