~ Colby's POV ~
When I said I was excited about Elton's video, that was no lie. We were staying over at a trampoline park and this time there was no hiding from security.
Honestly, the video was going great. Jake, Corey, Sam, I we're on a team while everyone else was on Elton's team. We head lost the soccer competition, but we were all more then determined to win the next game.
"Here it is." Elton said as he showed us to the foam pit with the beam above it. He handed one of the sticks to Sam while he got in the beam with the other. Sam lost and he ended up being the only one who lost.
"That's one for us, I guess you guys are going down." Sam said as he stood by the edge of the foam pit. Jody and Corbin rolled their eyes playfully.
"There's no way that you are going to beat us." Jody said as I started to walk closer to them. Sam sighed and shook his head.
"That's where you're wrong. That $10,000 is ours." Sam said in a very conceited manner. Jody laughed and pushed him into the foam pit as a joke.
Sam went back and at first we started laughing, but then he hit his head on the wooden beam behind us. I jumped into the pit and made my way over to him as quick as possible.
"Sam! Oh my God, are you ok?" I asked urgently. He looked like he wasn't all there, but at the same time he looked like he was perfectly fine.
"I'm fine. I just hit my head." He whimpered as he touched the back of his. He pulled his fingers back and there was clearly some blood on them. I tried to grab them, but he just wiped them on his pants and made his way out of the foam pit.
I followed closely behind and made sure to stay with him as much as possible. Elton led us to the next game and I could feel myself growing more anxious for Sam.
"Dodgeball?" I asked sounding a bit too worried. They looked at me confused and nodded.
"Yeah, is something wrong with that?" Elton asked. I shook my head as they all went out into the trampolines. Sam was heading out but I grabbed his wrist and pulled him back.
"Are you ok?" I asked looking into his eyes. He didn't look good at all. I could tell he was dizzy and he knew that I knew.
"I'm fine, Colby. Now let's go play." He said rushing me so that we could go play.
"Sam, I don't think you should be playing." I said as I placed my hand around his. He shook his head and pulled his jeans away aggressively.
"I'm fine! How many times do I have to say it?" I shook my head as he walked back to the court. I could see him wobbling slightly as he became more dizzy. Maybe he will brush it off?
I walked to the court and went to our side. Everyone was standing and ready to go. I stood beside Sam and looked at him cautiously. He kept his eyes forward as if I wasn't even there.
"Go!" I heard Elton yell, snapping me out of my thoughts. I ran to go get the dodgeballs like everyone else and went back to our side.
Our team wasn't doing so good and I was so caught up in the game that I almost forgot about Sam and his situation. It was us two left against Elton and I threw the ball, but Elton caught it meaning it was just Sam now. I went to the entrance of the court and stood watching.
Sam was dodging his throws and he threw one that hit Elton meaning we won. Elton came out to talk to his team, but I noticed Sam didn't come out. I looked over and saw him collapse.
"Sam!" I yelled running over the trampolines to get to him. I fell to my knees as I got to him and picked his upper body up to be against my chest.
Everyone was quick to gather around us and I couldn't help myself from starting to panic.
"Colby what happened?" Jake asked worriedly. I shook my head as tears formed in my eyes.
"I think it's from hitting his head earlier." I said while picking him up.I took him off the courts and sat down with him.
He was in between my legs with his head on my chest. I stroked his hair gently as Corey ran to me with ice.
"Will you be ok to watch him? We still have to film the video." Corey asked. I nodded immediately and he went back to the courts.
I held the ice against Sam's head as he began to stir lightly. I kissed the top of his head and he looked up at me with the best of his ability.
"You were right. I should've listened to you." He said quietly looking down again. I laughed lightly as he played with the material on my jeans.
"You should've told me how dizzy you were, love." He put his head in the crook of my neck and hummed softly.
"I know. I just didn't want to ruin the video." He said in almost a whisper. I frowned and rubbed his arms gently.
"No one would mind if you had to sit out. We would rather that then having you pass out. I mean I was a nervous wreck this whole time." He laughed and kissed my cheek causing me to blush.
"Sorry about that. You knew I was dizzy though and I just pushed you away." I nodded and played with his hair as he cuddled closer into me.
"Just don't do it again. I don't know if my heart can take that." I said laughing. He smiled and I leaned down and kissed his lips passionately.
"I love you." He said giggling, but wincing in pain shortly after. I placed the ice against his head again and pulled him closer if that was even possible.
"I love you more." I said just as Jody approached nervously.
"Hey Sam. Sorry about pushing you earlier. I was just joking around, but obviously it didn't end well." She said with a small frown. Sam shrugged his shoulders and smiled at her.
"You're totally fine. I knew it was an accident." He said which caused her to smile slightly.
"Thanks, will you be ok to join us?" She asked and Sam shook his head.
"I'm still a bit dizzy and my head still hurts. I think I might just stay here with Colby for now." She nodded and winked at me.
"Have fun you two. I hope you feel better Sam." She waves and walked back to the rest of the group.
"Why'd did she wink at you?" He asked with a small grin on his face.
"Maybe it's because we are so bad at hiding that we are together." Sam laughed and kissed me. I would never get used to that feeling that he gives me and I hope I will never have to live without it.
"Maybe that's because I'm just so madly in love with you."
