A/N: I'm not too happy with this, but it's long and it's been a while. So hey, I'll b eye ting to update more so if you have any request I'm open to them and I hope you enjoy.
I wasn't into the whole love thing for a long time. Not because I didn't want to be loved, but because it was something I was never good at. I couldn't really ever tell people how I felt and I couldn't show affection in a way that actually looked like affection. It was just more awkward then not, so I gave up on it.
That was until I met Sam Golbach. He was one of those crushes that made butterflies shoot through my entire body and I blushed every time his name was mentioned. Just seeing him in the school hallways made me smile more then I wanted it to.
I couldn't remember the last time I had liked someone, but I do know that it never felt like this. We had talked a handful of times when we were in the same classes but never a whole lot, which is why I am so confused about why I like him so much. I mean he's gorgeous and the sweetest human alive, but other people are attractive and nice. For some reason I just cannot get him out of my head.
It seemed like he was the only thing that was ever on my mind, which is why when I walked into class I bumped right into someone causing them to fall over.
I quickly rushed out as many sorrys as I could while I put out my hand for them to grab. When I looked down I was met with his beautiful blue eyes and I felt my heart stop. He grabbed my hand and I almost forgot to pull him up.
"Hey don't sweat it, Colby." He said as he put a hand on my shoulder for reassurance. It felt like I was in heaven when he said my name. I was shocked he even knew my name because I was sure I was a complete nobody.
I gave him a small smile and nodded, which he seemed satisfied with. Little did he know I wanted to do so much more. I wanted to be the one to hold him and kiss him, but no that was Katrina's job.
Oh yeah, Katrina Stuart. The schools biggest bitch. She likes to walk around like she owns the place and everyone lets her do it. When she walks in she immediately makes her presence known and goes right to Sam, making sure everyone also knows that he is hers.
Today, I completely ignored her and walked to my best friends Jake and Xepher. We all met sometime in middle school and I can't really remember how we all became friends. All I know is that Jake was stupidly funny and Xepher was the most cool and edgy person I had ever seen. Those things could still be used to describe them because they hadn't really changed. High school didn't change them like I thought it would and I was glad for that.
We were more of the loner type. We hung out with each other, but rarely anyone else. Sure we had school friends, but no one that came close to our friendship. Xepher was dating Griffin and Jake was dating Tara, and I actually like them a lot. If anyone hangs out with us the most it's them, but we keep our group the same more often then not.
"Colby! I have something exciting to tell you!" Xepher practically yelled as I sat next to her. Jake looked up and so did Tara who was siting next to him. Xepher looked at him with a confused expression and Jake shrugged.
"Don't we get to know what's so exciting?" Xepher sighed and looked at Jake who was constantly looking for something interesting to hear.
"I will tell you two later, but right now I want to see what Colby says first." Jake nodded somewhat understandingly and somewhat annoyed because he couldn't hear the secret. Tara also turned around, which led Xepher to face me and motion me closer.
"I don't really have something exciting to tell you. I just saw you and Sam down there and wanted to know what was going through your mind." She whispered in my ear. I smiled and blushed furiously at the thought of it. As you can tell it didn't take much to make me blush or even smile when it came to him.
