Chapter 23: Lyra

when I woke up I couldn't bring myself to get up straight away deciding to just in the bed a bit longer looking up at the ceiling. what happens to us now? are we just meant to adapt to this new timeline or whatever and move on? Me and Teal had nothing on us except the clothes on our back, I hoped when I woke up that it was all once crazy Vision but it wasn't.

deciding that it was probably time to get up, I tried to fix myself up the best i could but honestly it wouldn't have changed much anyways, walking downstairs following the sound of voices, once i walked into a room that many people were in bustling themselves with eating breakfast I spotted Teal and walked over to her.

i sat down next to her and when i did the room quietened down, looking around of the faces around i noticed i was surrounded by kids around my age instead of adults, there were twins with flaming hair who came and sat on either side of me and teal who kept staring at us and deciding to speak.

"so what are you's two names?" they spoke in unison, looking at teal wanting her to speak first and not me she rolled her eyes reading my thoughts and spoke up "I'm Teal Kentauros and this is my sister Lyra" i waved lightly trying to be friendly as much as i could possibly be in the moment. "so you's two are like really old then?" the twins spoke again, then the table erupted in a fight as the other kids yelled at the boys for being rude and insensitive, but me and Teal just started to crack up laughing.

everyone stopped fighting as we laughed, "oh my, i needed that" i wiped a tear away from laughing, then we all got talking and introduced themselves to us but Teal already seemed to know the boy Harry Potter, who when i learned of his name gave him a sympathetic smile. then they asked us what happened and we told them pretty much everything we could possibly remember.

then Ron spoke up "so you two are like time travelling superheros or something?! that's so cool you's need code names" i giggled and spoke up "we actually already have our own, I'm Starspeed and Teal is Bear" Fred and Georges mouth dropped open "NO WAY!" they exclaimed but me and Teal had no idea why they were acting like that but they explained how they got the map and used it for years and it was great help so they knew who we are.

then a red hair woman came in and introduced herself as Molly Weasley and gave us both a hug, then Sirius walked into the room and we locked eyes, sensing the tension Ms Weasley spoke "well since the girls need clothes and school essentials how about we go to diagonally?" then everyone got ready to go and i tried my best to avoid Sirius as much as i could because i honestly didn't know what to do anymore when it came to him.

but since Teal and i really needed clothes and school stuff we were happy to go, and off we went and as soon as we got there we had to go gringotts bank to get our money, Ms Weasley gave us our since dumbledore had it and handed it over to us, going to our bank we noticed how much more money we had in there. because we grew up in the forbiddon in the forest you would think we would have no money but actually that was completely wrong, money seemed to be everywhere on the forest floor and lost things always managed to show up around us.
