After Christmas break Draco and I settled back into school life, he came rushing to me one night after catching Harry and his club.
He told me the details and how they tried to take Dumbledore but he escaped, he also told me Teal was apart of the group as well.
The thought didn't settle well in my stomach from hearing it, but I shrugged it off to instead focus on the bigger problem at hand. Umbridge.
The toad has full control over the school now and Draco was helping her with it.
I laid in bed all night thinking about what was going to happen now that Dumbledore was gone, but before I could hope for sleep visions plagued me.
The first one was of the Sirius toon that happened leading to Dumbledore leaving, the next vision was of Umbridge getting taken away by the centaurs which Teal and the golden trio had helped do.
Then the worst came.
It was a vision I had previously had before, stuck in a room filled of crystal balls death eaters lurked around. Then the battle, and Sirius' death.
When watching his death once again registered in my brain I tried everything I could to get out of the vision before I saw anymore death.
But they wouldn't stop until I saw what they were trying to show me.
Voldemort.
He stood before Harry and Dumbledore, Alice and in full form.
He was coming.
The visions had let up once I saw his face again, the snake like features and the red eyes will always haunt me.
Getting up from my bed I walked down to the common room and sat before the fire on the lounge hoping that maybe I could find sleep somewhere else, now that Sirius was gone I felt lost on where to go when I couldn't sleep.
Of course I had Draco but I didn't want to disturb his sleep or make him aware of how bad my vision actually were.
I shivered thinking about the time I had been unable to get out of my visions and nearly went crazy.
Then I ended up here.
Huffing I realised I wasn't getting any sleep in the common room, not wanting to go back to my own bed I took the right side of the stairs walking up to where dracos dorm was and entering.
It was only him, Crabbe, Goyle and Blaise in the dorm so sneaking in I slid under Dracos sheeting curling up to him.
He instinctively wrapped his arms around me still asleep, feeling Berger I snuggled in more before falling asleep.
—————
Waking up Draco said nothing to me about sneaking into his bed but simply kissed me when I woke up.
My gut pulled when I remembered that tomorrow night was the night that Sirius would die and Voldemort would return for everyone to see.
I went back to my room to get ready for the day, I had convinced myself to make sure that I would be with the group when Sirius will die so I would be able to witness the last of him in this world.
I also prepared myself to see Voldemort. My eyes narrowed in the mirror as I thought about him.
To many times had I lost sleep, time and loved ones because of him.
I will make sure I am there.
The whole day I kept one eye on the golden trio ready for them to take action and for me to follow behind. But I knew nothing would happen till the next day.
Draco had asked me a few times if I was alright but I assured him I was fine, on the other hand Pansy had taken the chance of me being distracted to get closer to Draco.
I was phased at all since I knew how loyal Draco was to me plus it was pansy for Merlins sake!
The day had ended as quickly as it started as I just waited for the clock to start it's countdown for the inevitable to come.
As I waited for the signs I acted, they had taken umbridge to the Forrest where she'll be scared off and taken by the centaurs. Finally Luna had come up with the idea to take the thestrals and go to the ministry of magic.
Knowing they would take this plan of action I thought ahead and hid with a thestral I took with me.
I waited till they took off before I followed loosely behind. I felt a little guilty about not telling Draco where I was going or even admitting to Teal that I was following her but I knew they'd understand.
I followed them as they went into the ministry, when we came into the room of prophecy's I took another route searching for something, once I had found the glowing orb I tucked it away in the little pouch I brought.
Hearing spells and curses been thrown at each other I ran to where I knew the group would meet up and hid before they had the chance to see me.
Eventually we came to the room where Sirius would be murdered.
I hid as they all battled waiting for the moment to come, when I saw Sirius apperate in with the group I took charge.
I hid minutes before his time of death, running toward his I launched spells at oncoming death eaters.
I heard Teal yell my name in the mix of it but I continued on, Bellatrix fixated on him ready to launch her spell at him.
I screamed out his name hoping for him to move out of the way but he was having his final joke with Harry to even notice my commotion.
Then before the spell hit I made eye contact with Sirius, his eyes widened at the sight of me - running towards him screaming with few tears slipping down my face. But it was already too late, before my deflection spell could even form the curse hit him in the chest causing him too loose his balance and stumbled into the looming archway.
I screamed as his lifeless body floated away into nothing. My whole goal was to save his life tonight even though I knew I wouldn't be able to I really thought I could stop this from coming true.
