Chapter 29: Lyra

Three days had passed and it was finally Friday, not a lot happened in those day except for Umbridge putting up more and more signs as she gained more and more power. She was now allowed to attended teachers classes for evaluation, she was assessing the whole school for the ministry.

Other than that not a lot happened. But it was Friday and it was what I was looking forward too. Was Pansy or I correct? I know it sounds stupid but I had gotten a little competitive now since I just got sick of her glares and hisses my way.

Walking to breakfast by myself I sat down at the table not seeing Draco in sight, filling up my plate full of food Pansy decided to slam down her tray right in front of me once again. I looked up at her slowly watching her as she huffed "well today is the day Kentauros, we will find out who gets Draco" raising an eyebrow to her "this isn't about who gets Draco this is about you leaving me the fuck alone" I spat at her.

She rolled her eyes "same thing" then the sound of rushing feet came out way, and there was draco coming towards us in a hurry as he had a freaked out expression on his face. "What's wrong Draco?" Pansy whined at the poor boy.

He started to pace and just kept freaking out "that Umbridge has banned bloody quidditch!" He huffed out. Sitting down next to me he slammed his head down at the table and groaned. I looked up at Pansy giving her a smirk as one thing already came true from my Vision.

She glared back at me, Draco put his head back up "man I know it's good that your right, but why did you have to be right about this?" Draco sooked for a little bit as I patted his back softly "hey I did say the day will get better didn't I?" I smiled at him. He nodded looking a little bit better.

We continued eating our breakfast and then split up going to our classes, walking to astronomy which was during the day instead of night as we had to have at least one day class a week. Going into the classroom I sat down gathering all of my equipment out.

The class started to fill up and once everyone was sorted the professor told us that we were learning about dreams and what they mean, we had to have a dream journal and then after writing our dream try to explain what it means.

I knew that we would be doing this so bringing out a blue book with a cloud that I personally made myself for the dream journal started to write the dream I had last night.

For the rest of the day it was a pretty normal day, I attended my classes as usual and was Draco's potions partner as usual as well. Then it was lunch, thankful for the bell to eat my stomach was growling at the lack of food. Basically running to the table ready to eat Draco was right behind me as well trying to keep up.

Sitting down I started to fill my plate up as Draco tried to catch some air "you are a fast one aren't you?" He breathed out heavily. I just nodded as my mouth was stuffed with food.

And then a screech was heard, looking up I frowned "I thought owls only came at breakfast?" Confused I spoke but Draco only sighed "not a owl but a Pansy" it made a lot of sense as I looked at her figure coming towards us as she was soaked dripping water all over the floor.

"What happened to you?" I asked wide eyed as water just didn't stop coming from her. She glared at me "it started to pour outside you dimwit" she sneered at me. Frowning at her "well it wasn't raining when I came here nor Draco" I told her, she rolled her eyes at me. "Wait doesnt that mean that Pansy has predicted two things wrong so far?" Draco asked and I nodded "which also reminds me, we're doing dreams from astronomy and I wanted to tell you this dream I had last night that I think you might find funny" I giggled he nodded turning to me probably to listen better but Pansy then screamed and I saw an object coming for my head, ducking out of the way I looked up at her to see she had a heavy ass book in her hands.

"Did you just try to hit me with a book?" I yelled at her but she just dropped the book and picked up her wand pointing it at me "I'm so sick of you! Why do you get all of Draco's attention and not me?!" She screeched , she flicked her wand muttering a spell but I jumped out of the way before it could hit me "maybe because I'm not a psycho like you?!" I started to dodge all of her attacks on me not wanting to pick up my wand and fight her back like she wanted me too.

But I didn't have to because Draco has disarmed her "what is wrong with you Pansy?!" He shouted at her, her bottom lip wobbled but before she could try and defended herself to Draco, Snape walked over to us. He glared down at Pansy "Ms Parkinson your actions have caused disgrace to the Slytherin house and shows me that you aren't fit to be a prefect so I'm taking that title away from you" he waved his and the badge flew off uniform and into his hand.

She scoffed "whatever I don't care about some stupid badge, I hated being prefect anyways" I raised an eyebrow at her pettiness but Snape just smirked "if you feel that way Ms Parkinson I'm sure Ms Kentauros would happily accept the job" looking at me I nodded, he waved his hand and the pin flew to me and pinned itself on my uniform.

Draco nudged me "hey more time together then" I smiled at me feeling excitement bubble up but Pansy had heard it and screamed once again. I wish that she would just shut up sometimes.

Late at night it was mine and Draco's turn to roam the halls of hogwarts making sure everything was alright and no kids were out of bed, when it was time for us to go to bed as well I wasn't all that tired so I walked outside and sat on the grass looking up at the stars.

The Stars always made me feel at home and even though I was in a different time the Stars still looked the exact same which made me feel a whole lot better. Then Draco came over and sat beside me. "Not tired?" He asked "not at all" I replied.

"Do you ever feel that no matter how much everything changes or how much you go through you can always just look at one thing and feel better? Well when I look up at the stars it reminds me that everything I have gone through they were always there looking down at me giving their light to guide my way" I admired to him

He was looking at me "you always seeing everything in a whole different light do you?" I smiled and nodded "that dream I was going to tell you about was that I was a star falling to earth, it was weird but it was nice as well"

He looked up at the stars himself and spoke "I had a dream as well last night , I dreamed that I was a dragon flying around the school but I didn't know how to breathe fire" he laughed a little bit but I cracked up laughing at him.

"That's pretty strange but I like it" he looked over at me and moved a little closer "you know that even though your name means Dragon it is also a constellation" he nodded slightly "yeah it's a bit of a tradition in my family to be named after the Stars" he said ever so softly

A feeling washed over me as I looked up once again and pointed at the stars "over there is Draco and just a little bit over is Lyra" I told him, he looked up mouth open "I didn't know your names after a Star" I nodded to him.

He looked down at me smiling "I guess we were both written in the Stars then" then he wrapped his arm around me.
