Walking up stage, I heard the crowd cheering and whispering to each other. They were most likely whispering about me.
Back at home I was known as the 'sweet, innocent girl' I guess most people were surprised that I was picked for the games. But let me tell you something, my name may be Angel, I may look weak, but I am here to win and to prove to everyone that I can be otherwise, so don't let my appearance fool you.
Not a lot of people may know this, but I've been through a lot, the pain of losing someone you care about, tends to change people. So if I can overcome that, I can overcome anything!
I know I got the skills to win this thing, and especially the brains as well. Whenever I'm fishing or hunting food for my family, I would never ever miss a shot! Even if it's long distance.
I would hate to kill any of the other tributes, but when it comes down to it, I'm here to win the 5th Writers Games!
As I finally got to the middle of the stage, I turned to face the crowd, waved and smiled. "Hey, I'm Angel from district 10, and I'm ready for the games to begin!"
