When Arthit came to himself, the first thing he felt was pain. His head hurt and his limbs were aching. His memory was fuzzy and his eyelids were too heavy for him to lift them up.

"Ughh." Arthit made a soft, painful groan when he was finally capable enough of sitting up and opening his eyes. His vision was getting better as he blinked and all the pain he was feeling was slowly fading away.

He was in a small room, currently sitting on a single bed. Weaker bits of sunlight were shining through a window, lighting the dark space up a bit. There was only one wardrobe, a simple table with a chair and a lonely plant sitting in the furthest corner of the room. There were two doors, one leading to the bathroom which was open, the second door was closed.

The whole room was clean but very simple, resembling a modern prison.

Arthit looked around but this place just didn't look familiar to him. His panic started to rise when he remembered the last situation before blacking out. So many questions popped in his mind but a sudden burning sensation on his collarbone got all of his attention.

"What the...?!" He tried to look at the hurting area but couldn't quite see it. It was then he realized he wasn't wearing any shirt, just a pair of black jeans. Unable to ignore the unpleasant sensation and wanting to know the cause of it, Arthit persuaded himself to get up and go to the bathroom.

His legs felt weak but he supported himself by leaning against the wall. Once he made it to the bathroom and looked at himself in a small mirror, Arthit froze. He didn't know what to look at more, the black and reddish area on his chest or his hair?

He'd been growing them out for almost three years to have them long enough to reach his shoulders. His long hair was now gone and he was left with average-looking, currently messy fringe that was falling into his eyes.

Arthit opened and closed his mouth few times, unable to make a sound. The other shock was a tattoo located on his collarbone. It was a wolf's paw with claws of medium size. A chain was crossing directly the whole image with a lock on its end. The whole tattoo small and it was surrounded by reddish, irritated skin.

He didn't know how long he stood there dumbfounded and in awe but a sound of unlocking door made him come back to his senses. It was too late as Arthit realized he made another huge mistake. He was yet again too careless. He should've tried to escape when he had time. The window didn't have any locks nor was it caged. He could've easily escaped by breaking the glass.

Fuck. Arthit panicked and closed the bathroom door. There wasn't any key so that was the best he could do.

"Joan, he isn't here." He heard from the other room and held his breath.

"Of course he is, you dumbass. Check the bathroom." A different voice ordered and Arthit's heart almost stopped. He needed to act quickly and wisely, he had only one chance.

It all happened in one moment.

When the door opened, Arthit immediately charged against a tall and muscular man in front of him. The stranger was too tall though as Arthit's fist almost didn't reach his face. His hit did almost no damage at all since he was still weakened from the chloroform.

"Hey, hey, how about you calm down for a moment?" The big man grinned while he secured Arthit's hands behind his back by one move.

"You have two options here, little boy." Shorter man in a black suit coughed to get over this quickly. "You can come with us nicely or this big bro behind you will chain you up." He swung a pair of handcuffs on his index finger. "Which one will it be?"

"Who the fuck are you?! What did you do to me?! Why the hell am I here?!" Arthit barked at them while giving the shorter man, Joan, a hateful look.

"You will find out if you come with us. Nobody wants to hurt you, not yet. Dress up and move your ass. Clothes are in the wardrobe" Joan ordered and nodded to Gin who let him go upon that signal.

Arthit stood there for a moment and considered every option before resigning and opening the dresser. It was a hopeless situation and he could've been able to find an opening to run away if cooperating now.

How did it turn out like this? He wondered while he put on a plain black shirt and a hoodie of the same color, the only two pieces of clothes inside a big closet.

Once they left Arthit's room, all three walked down a long hallway. Arthit couldn't tell for sure but from what he'd seen so far, he guessed they were in a hotel. A cheaper hotel that looked a bit dirtier but it had doors with numbers. They'd also passed multiple staircases and elevators what supported his theory.

Arthit was desperately looking around and waiting for an opening to come, but the tall man was walking beside him and watching his every move. As if that wasn't enough, the whole building was like a maze and he already couldn't remember the way back to the room.

"We're here. Just a bit of advice for you, boy. Behave and you might end up saving your ass. Enjoy." Joan said once they finally reached a two-winged wooden door at the end of one hallway. A guard was standing on the each side of the door with dark glasses on their eyes. They paid no attention to them but Arthit's anxious feeling only doubled.

"Our job is done, see you around. Hopefully." Joan grinned and knocked on the door five times in a weird rhythm. The door opened on its own, although it was a doing of the other two guards inside the room.

"We've brought him, just as you requested." Gin spoke up for the first time and both of them politely bowed their heads. Arthit only looked at them with confusion and then observed the room. It was a huge hall with a red carpet on the floor and a big office table at the very back. A man Arthit couldn't see very clearly was sitting behind it with his hands resting on his elbows.

"You may leave." He said quietly and Arthit shivered. Both of his accompanies disappeared in an instant and Arthit was pushed inside while the big door behind him closed. He stood there for a moment in silence, looking around.

Behave. Arthit remembered the advice and bit his tongue. Something was telling him to not mess around but the his temper was slowly raising up.

"I've finally got the chance to meet you, Arthit Perawat." The stranger spoke and Arthit yet again shivered. What's wrong whit this person? His voice is so off-putting. He frowned.

"I have no clue who are you. Why am I even here? And what the hell has happened to my hair? What's the deal with that tattoo?!" Arthit slowly raised his voice but still prevented himself from swearing.

"I understand this is rather sudden, thus I will state the facts from the beginning. You were sold to me by your father in exchange for his cowardice. Your life and your body are therefore mine now." Kongpop's eyes sparkled and an evil smile formed on his face.

"You belong to me."
