Arthit was really furious the first few days after returning from the failed mission. He was frustrated about Kongpop saving him yet again, about him not getting the praise and taking all the blame he didn't deserve.
For some reason, nobody was talking to him and it seemed like the whole squad was just avoiding him in general. It was like nothing could ever go right in his life but that alone wasn't enough to ruin his mood. He's been through worse, that's why nobody was looking for him even though he hasn't been at home for several months and his phone number has changed.
Not even the college had tried to contact him, they must have reasoned his absence because of his father's death and ended his almost expired scholarship.
None of that mattered to Arthit. Not even the fact that he was all alone in a small room, feeling like a prisoner again. He was getting used to it more and more.
The only thing on his mind was Kongpop. The more he thought about it, the less sense it all made. When they first met, he had some stupid talk about Arthit being his and then he casually cut his throat. Next time, Arthit literally attempted to kill himself and Kong, though nothing bad ever came out of it. Kongpop even covered him in front of other members.
And now, Kongpop protected him again when he got himself into a dangerous situation and supposedly ruined everything. Why wasn't he angry? Why wasn't he all scary and bossy?
The question that haunted Arthit the most though was, why the hell did he have a mark on his neck?!
On top of all of that, Arthit was scared. The more help he received from Kongpop, the more he was in debt. How was he supposed to revenge his father then? All of this made him hate Kongpop even more.
He hated him for his unpredictable behavior, unreadable character and most importantly, for his mercy. Was he looking down on him? Was he playing with him? Was he going to laugh into his face if Arthit were to kill him, saying he's owning him too much for doing that? Did he want to make him feel guilty?
All of these thoughts made Arthit frown from morning to evening, decreased his appetite and lowered his guard. The guard he told himself to keep up at all cost.

"Okay, can you stop sitting on my bed, all of you? I've just washed my sheets, sit on the floor. You all belong there anyway." Bright ordered around while being annoyed with the number of guests in his room.
"You meant, that I've just washed your sheets." Rome shook his head and handed everyone a pillow to sit on. Only god knew where he got them from.
"Why are we meeting in my room anyway? The cafeteria is right behind the corner!" He glared at the former members of the Clowns. Only Arthit was missing. "Tutah, stop eating those fries on my bed, do you really want to die?" Bright was already at the edge with his nerves.
"We've got more important things to talk about. Bright, you know there are cameras and mics everywhere in shared areas, how can you even suggest such a thing." Knot started the meeting when everyone calmed down and gathered around him in the small room. It was exactly the same as the Arthit's one, the only difference was two single beds instead of one. Rome and Bright had them normally pushed together but now the situation required to have them separated to create some sitting space on the floor.
"Have you seen Arthit today? He's getting worse. He looks so out of it." Knot started the topic he wanted to discuss.
"He didn't even eat his meal! Just threw the whole portion away." Tutah added with worried expression while munching fries.
"What did the boss say? Are we still not allowed to talk to him?" Prem asked.
"I don't know. I didn't get a chance to talk about this." Knot admitted while beating himself over that in his mind.
"Since the order hasn't changed yet, there's nothing we can do." Prem sighed.
"I don't think so. We should just walk up to him and let him know how things are." Joan opposed with his arms crossed on his chest. Gin behind him nodded to support him.
"That is too dangerous. We're supposed to keep his profile as low as possible, aim everyone's attention the other way and make him as invisible. How does your suggestion support any of these tasks?" Knot asked while not agreeing with himself. He also wished to explain Arthit what was up.
The rumors had gone out about him being the reason for the failed mission even sooner than they got back. It only meant somebody was a traitor. It was later found out that the driver spread it around and that he also didn't stop Arthit at the entrance back then, despite guarding it.
Kongpop's authority was being questioned even more than before, Black Dragon's actions couldn't be predicted or monitored anymore and there were two former targets everyone wished to hit.
Kongpop and Arthit.
A rumor about Arthit being his bitch, or nicely said, 'lover,' as Kong called it in front of Tum also got around. It was all clear why Kongpop put Arthit in advantage and didn't severe punish him the whole time.
The scar on his neck wasn't now enough to threaten anyone.
Clowns were supposed to calm the situation as down as possible but they weren't very successful. The whole atmosphere was tense and everybody was waiting for someone to make their first move.
"We should wait at least a few more days, it's still very risky." Rome suggested. "We just have to believe in him, he's going to be fine. He's tougher than he looks like."
Everyone had to agree with that, not knowing about Arthit quietly crying in the men's bathroom a few rooms away.
