i sat by the pool, staring up at the sky. i wondered to myself why i let this happen.
timothée was a great guy - sweet, pretty, funny, but, i couldn't help it. we had known each other for 7 days? and we had already slept together.
"hey thal" i heard his voice as the sun was blocked from me. my gaze locked onto him as i let out a small smile. "you alright?" he raised an eyebrow. i nodded.
he leaned forward and placed his hands at either side of my head, leaning on the lounger, "no you're not, what's wrong?"
i sucked on my gums for a moment. "we've only known each other for a week" i mumbled as i looked away from him. though he pulled my face back gently - just like he did that day at the lake. "look at me thal, we may have only known each other for a week, but i sure damn know i'm attracted to you."
"last night, we may not have been fully aware of things, but i know it meant something to me, otherwise i wouldn't be here right now."
"didn't it mean anything to you?" he whispered quietly. i nodded at him and placed a hand on his cheek, caressing it gently to show he meant something to me. he nuzzled his face into it slightly and grinned softly at me.

"thal cmon." my mum stated as i slowly walked down the stairs.
"i'm here, i'm here" i mumbled as i linked arms with her, smiling big and innocently at her, making her chuckle and shake her head at me.
we met nicole and began to walk to the door.
"where are you guys headed?" i glanced over my shoulder to see timmy, running his fingers through his curls. "the market" his mother informed him, fixing the bag strap on her shoulder as she watched her son. "can i come?" he raised an eyebrow, glancing at the three of us.
marie looked at us before looking back at the boy.
"sure, come along. no messing!" she warned causing him to grin as he walked out the door with us.
the market. it was like everyone knew everyone. it was so cool.
marie said hello to everyone and timmy just nodded with his shades on.
