~Grace~
-Well, it's been a wonderful night, Grace. Thanks for the company.
We are in front of my quarter's door.
-Thanks to you Chris. Good night.
I get closer to her slowly, I hope I can kiss her. And she approaches. But at the last she gives me a kiss on my cheek. She wants to play.
-You have to do more than taking me out for dinner only one night, Lieutenant. Good night...
I smile. I want to play her game. It is funny. And it's sexy.
-Goodnight Grace.---------------------------------------------------------
My head hurts. I hear muffled sounds. I see only black around me. I don't remember anything. Every breath is an agony. Then I remember. Rose. The phaser. Kyd.
Kyd.
I begin to perceive the light, then the room and the sounds that surround me become more and more clear. I look around, I'm in the sickbay. And I see her. She is alive. I saved her.
-Kyd...
The voice barely comes out of me. Grace turns and smiles at me.
-Welcome back Chris, you made it! But your ribs... they're gonna feel like a xylophone from a Klingon marching band for a few days. Consider yourself lucky to be alive!
Every breath is very bad.
-What ... what happened?
-You had a punctured lung at three points, heart damage, severe kidney trauma and six broken ribs. You had been on the table for two hours. Fortunately, you have an excellent chief medical officer and an incredible medical division.
-Thank you ... Kyd. You saved me.
-And you saved me. Let's consider the debt pay off!-. She smiles at me.
-Rest, you're going to be of here in two hours!
I nod. I would like to stay here forever. Next to her.---------------------------------------------------------
Notes:
