Without a care to her surroundings Sanyukata rushed down the stairs as if the hellions were chasing behind her.

"Mom! Dad!" She screamed out in happiness when she saw them sitting on the couch and flung herself on them.

Making her parents look around awkwardly and patting her back. Her mother cleared her throat and whispered in her ear.

"Yukti behave my child; you aren't at your place anymore, love."

These words of her mother bought tears to her eyes, she has forgotten for a moment  the circumstances under which she had been married. She gulped back her tears and pulled out of her parents embrace, looking around the living room finding all his relatives were gaping at her behaviour, after all she was a new bride; it is assumed that she'll have to behave like a docile little mouse. All she could do was give them a weak smile and muttered a sorry in small voice.

She could see that some of the elder aunties have already formed an ill opinion about her, well, she couldn't do do much about it and any which way she's here on temporary basis; so she couldn't careless about their opinions.

"Dadu don't you think your so-called new granddaughter is acting as if we've been torturing her form last twenty four hours." Mocked Devil Chauhan.

"Well I can assure about myself, but I don't know about you, maybe you were troubling my granddaughter." Dadu countered back, giving him a hard look. "Anyways you won't understand what a girl goes through, for that you'll have to have gender transformation and I am pretty sure you aren't interested to go through that process." Dadu smartly shifted the focus from Sanyukta to Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu went to her parents and touched their feet for their blessing making Sayunkta scoff at his acting skill. He's the one who is ready to harm  them at any given notice, but, in front of his family he's acting like a picture perfect son-in-law. Even her parents for that matter are acting as if he is their long lost son. Maybe they too are are acting under the fear of his threats. Sanyukta thought to herself or else she'll go mad at this soap opera.

Dadu introduced her parents to the rest of his clan, she could see that many people have started gossiping about her parents for not following the traditions. Well, it was not there fault, it was insisted by Abhimanyu that instead of visiting them they should come at his place foregoing all the traditions.

After the greet and meet, they all settled down for the  wonderful lunch. But in all this Sanyukta couldn't find an opportunity to talk to her parents alone and she was dying to know why didn't her Dai Maa came to meet her.

She was stating to form a headache from all this fiasco; first her fight with Devil, then her parents strange behaviour. Moreover, why did Abhimanyu wanted to project that they are the happy couple in love. She didn't know about her family and Abhimanyu but if this goes on for a bit more, she'll definitely go mad. She held her head throughout the lunch, not interacting with others, even devil tried to engage her in a conversation but it was all in vain; left with no other option he let her be for the moment.

"Well, Well, Well. Look at the scene, Dude this is not done at all. The moment you got a wife, you've forgotten your buddy." Samarth dramatically kept his hand his heart as if deeply hurt by Abhimanyu. "Are you seeing your grandson Dadu? Soon he'll forget you as well!" Everyone in the family was well aware of his antics and enjoyed their banter heartily.

"I am seeing him, as well as you. Don't you worry next is your turn son." Dadu replied with a twinkle in his eyes. Samarth was like a second grandson to him.

"Oh! NO! NO!" He exclaimed horrifiedly, his eyes bulging out of his socket. "I am fine just the way my life is. Thank you very much."

"If you are done with your drama , come with me to the study room. I've got work for you." Abhimanyu said dryly.

"Not cool Bro, not cool. It's been hardly a day since you've been married and you are talking about work." Abimanyu gave him a deadly glare and walked off to his study; making him shrug and follow him sulkily, dragging his feet.

After the duo left to the study room, Sanyukta tried many times to talk to her parents alone, but all her attempts were futile, at the last moment someone will come to either chat with them or some other family member wanted to meet her.

Evening was fast approaching, Abhimanyu and Samarth were still in the study room; Sanyukta was still trying to get hold of her parents for a little chat.

"Bhabhi ji, Bhaiya is calling you in the study." A servant informed her respectfully making her huff out in irritation.

Well there was no point in creating a scene now, anyways she wasn't able to find her parents in the living room, so she thought its better to deal with the devil now.

She walked to the study room and knocked on it. She heard a faint voice asking her to enter.

She pushed open the door and was hit with the smell of books, making her smile, she didn't expect to find such a cozy study room, especially the one which belonged to the devil. A huge love seat was recline in one corner, but the room was dominated by a huge mahogany desk, and Devil Chauhan sitting on the white leather chair like an emperor. She could make out that a man and woman were sitting facing him and there back to the door.

Abhimanyu saw that it was her, he stood up from the chair, walked towards her making her forget about the other two occupants.

He reached near her and whispered near her ear.

"Take your as much time as you want but remember one thing after this I don't want you to throw a tantrum for at least a month if you could." She looked at him perplex, as to what he was trying to say.

Before she could ask him anything further she heard her mother call out her name, making her eyes go wide and mouth forming an 'O'.

He just gave her a look and walked off softly closing the door behind him.

She has forgotten all about him and rushed to her parents and started her crying fest again.
