He saw you at your lowest
He saw you when you fell apart, when you were at the ending point of your story
But He didn't run, He didn't get angry, He didn't criticize the sights he saw
Instead,
Instead he stayed, he stayed with a gentle voice, a warm one of reassurance
A voice to help you get back up when you were down
A voice to help bring you out of the darkness that held a grasp to you
He stayed even when he had his own battle
His own demons to face yet he stayed to help you with yours
You help him, maybe not entirely but maybe a little to bring him out of his own darkness
A warm heart in a cold world helping Him as He helped you beyond what you ever did
You built a trust, a comfort with Him as He brought a different world
A world of color, a different world lost to the forgotten
You slowly grew close, close to Him who would mean so much
Mean so much when you didn't expect Him to, expecting it to be like all the other
All the others who left, who moved one from you when He kept at your side
Yet.. Yet the demons held with in, kept with the lies
The lies of unloved, no care for you, the ones who tried to end a barely beginning story
The ones who lead you believe you deserved a world of hate, isolation
The ones who tore at a soft heart of hope and love
The ones who made you believe you were less then anything
Yet.. Yet He held out a hand, a hand to help you up
A hand to hold through the tough, through the rough times
A hand you lashed out atHim,Him being the one to be pushed over by you
You who inside wanted to hold Him, to love Him, to show Him what He showed you
To show, He was more then what He was lead to believe
Yet.. Yet you pushed Him where He nearly was gone
Breaking, breaking what was built up
Tearing down what you yearned to hold
Losing Him, who you held dear, held so dear yet nearly broke
Days of coldness, slow ticking days as the world you lived slowly dragged you back
Slowly reverting to an ending story, one where You were the author
One where you wrote the ending to the beginning
Yet.. Yet He who you pushed over, came back
Came back slowly, slowly to try to rebuild what was torn down
To start a new beginning where the ending was closing in
To build back what was once was
He who still loved when He was hurt
He who gave another chance when one wasn't deserved
He who was broke down by You
Yet stayed, stayed even at your worst, even when the true side came out
He stayed, lending another hand, holding out to you once more
Love, love running again for Him, who stayed and loved
A dear love, held by both made whole together
Past, pushing past the once was to the now is
