lost: Laughing Jack

You felt your throat close up as you neared another dead end of fallen trees. The panic switch in your mind was slowly turning on, but you wouldn't let it. You couldn't let it. It was a foggy memory of how you got to this point, but it all started this morning.
You and LJ were doing fine...until he brought up school. You started ranting, telling him all your problems, happy he was finally listening to you. When you finished, he started laughing about how human problems were so hysterical! You don't even think he noticed you leave the house because he was laughing so hard.
After that you walled into your neighbouring forest, which leads us back to here.
"I-I'm so fucking confused!" You screamed out, tugging at your hair. Your anxiety was skyrocketing and you couldn't keep your breathing straight.
"J-Just calm down (Y-Y/N)! You. Have. To. Stay. Calm!" Your eyes trailed every inch of your surrounding while you walked, begging for any sign of a way home. A slight breaking in the bushes caught your eye and you cheerfully whooped.
"Yes! Thank you!" Without thinking you rushed towards it, brushing off all the vines in the way.
That's when the small break in the bushes turned into a drop onto the cold, hard, forest floor.
You laid there, gasping slightly as your panic fully attacked you. Your eyes fluttered as your hands raked all over the moss covered floor, gripping and pulling it out. Your hair stuck to your face as tears and sweat mingled against your flushing skin. And during all this, all you could do was sit through it.
No one was there to help you, no one was there to talk you through it. Your mind flashed to all those moments LJ would rush to your side and comfort you. More tears flooded your vision as you kept breathing for air.
A minute turned into a couple hours or so before you could fully calm down. You laid still on the mossy ground. You felt so warm, almost feverish, and you couldn't bear to move from your comfortable position.
"(Y/N)?" Your eyes popped open as you heard a voice call your name.
"Gumdrop? A-Are you there?" His voice sounded so alarmed, ashamed, and most of all, worried. You cleared your throat preparing your pained voice to speak.
"Jack!" Your voice, even though it came above a whisper, rang throughout the forest. You heard his footsteps stop, then pick up as they grew closer to you. His face peaked above the brush above you and his face paled even more than you thought it could.
"O-OH MY GOD!" LJ screamed out as he laid his eyes on you. He instantly jumped down the drop, which was apparently farther than you thought, and bolted towards you.
"(Y-Y/N)? O-Oh my g-god baby!" He cried out as he gently cradled you. You felt so weak, but you smiled nonetheless.
"Hi.." You whispered as you gently caressed his face. Tears started welling in in his eyes as he kept raking your figure over.
"I'm so sorry sweetie..I-I oh Jesus.." He faltered as he picked you up, making you wince. You put your hand on his arm to stop him, but he gently shook it off.
"I-I have to get you to the hospital or..or something..." He rambled as your pain grew worse.
"Please..jack...can i just rest some more?" Your eyelids felt droopy as you held onto you. His eyes grew wide as he started tapping your face.
"No. Stay awake. You have to stay awake!" His voice grew panicked as the tapping increased. You giggled slightly and sighed.
"I'm not dying silly, I'm..just tired.." Your voice grew soft as your eyelids closed and your breathing evened. He started shaking you slightly but you refused to let him wake you. You heard a sigh before you gently drifted off, not knowing you weren't going to wake up for a while.
