Ava's POV
"Hurry if you don't get his heart beating regularly he won't make it!" Beep beep beeeeeeeeeep.
"No, no this can't be happening," I started to cry as I fell to my knees. "I've lost everyone, first Tate and Josalyn, now him. This can't be happening!" I started to choke up. I started to pull out my phone, and stared to text Tate and Josalyn.
Guys I'm sorry about what happened but we need to see each other
Why what's happening, me and Jos will be there in a bit
Yeah just tell us where you and Reed are
Its just me and meet me at the Cafe
Ok we will be right there

"Can I get a water?" I asked the waitress as she eyed me in the empty booth. I tried to make it look like I wasn't crying but every time I talk, I start to tear up.
"Sorry, we tried to get here as quick as we could without being seen, but there are so many people outside what happened?" Tate asked as he and Jos sat down across from me.
"There was a car crash." I said.
"Hey, why are you so cut up... Oh my gosh Ava, you were in the car crash! Are you ok!?" Josalyn said.
"Wait where is Reed? Was he?" Tate asked.
"Yeah, he was and he's he's gone." I said starting to cry. Josalyn just stood in shock as Tate came over and grabbed both of us and teleported all of us to the treehouse.
"Where is he? WHERE IS HE!?" Tate said starting to cry. I went over to hug him and he just stood there crying.
"He's gone, he died protecting me. I'm so sorry, it's all my fault. I accidentally distracted him by bringing up this situation. I'm so sorry." I said as we both slid down onto our knees both crying. Josalyn joined us after a minute. We all just cried, and cried.

I started to walk home. I started to turn the corner when a masked figure was about to kidnap me when something hit it before I could react.
"Tate, just go home, I'm fine." I said.
"I'm not Tate." Said a familiar voice.
"Josalyn I'm fine ok just go away." I said as I started to walk away.
"Just look at me!" Said the voice again. I looked and I couldn't believe my eyes.
