Ava's POV

"Just look at me!" Said the voice again. I looked and I couldn't believe my eyes.

"But I watched you die, this isn't real it's just my imagination. Reed is dead, you are dead. You are dead!" I said starting to break down.

"If I'm dead how did I just punch that guy. Ava I am a spirit thing, like the ones Tate and Jos have." Reed said as he stepped towards me.

"Their's aren't our dead friends! They are animals Reed! You shouldn't be here go back to being dead." I said as I started walking away.

"I can't. As soon as I died I was a spirit and I was drawn to you. I'm your spirit. You have to go tell Tate and Josalyn." He said as he started moving towards the creek.

"Fine but I'm going home I need to go sleep. Someones death took the energy out of me. We can tell them in the morning." I said as I turned to go walk home. I realized that there were people around, and they obviously couldn't see Reed. They saw a man trying to attack me and something hit him. Then me talking to myself. "Let's go."

**********

When we got home I tried to go straight to my room but my parents had other plans.

"Honey I heard about the accident, I'm so sorry." My mom said as my mom and dad gave me a hug.

"If you want to talk we are here for you." My dad said.

"I'm just tired, I'm going to go to bed." I said as I went to my room.

"Are you hungry?" I said as I pulled out some candy.

"No, I don't think I need to eat or anything anymore, I loved eating too." Reed said as he started to float in the air.

"Can I do that?" I asked as I tried to float but ended up still on the ground.

"I don't know what we can do. We will probably find out when we talk to Tate and Josalyn." He said as he stopped floating and sat down on the bed. I found it weird that he didn't leave an imprint on the bed, but I guess he is a ghost thing?

"What are you going to to while I sleep?" I asked starting to get under my blankets.

"I might go fly around, see if Tate is still awake training or something." He said.

"Are you ok with this now? You didn't want to talk about it in the car. You don't have to do this."

"I realized I was angry over nothing, they had a good reason to hide it from us. They didn't want us getting hurt."

"So you are ok if we help them fight?"

"I'd be glad to help them fight." He said smiling. I don't know if I'm just good at reading emotions or if we have some psychic powers but I could feel some held back anger off of him. But I decided I don't want to pry.

"Ok, goodnight." I said.

"Night."
