Invisible Bond

Part 1 -Intro

I close my eyes ...

I try to focus on all the sounds around me which includes the rhythmic creaking of the rusted swing on which I'm swinging slowly on and the sounds of my girlfriends giggling and talking.

This is one of the few days in my life which I want to savor.  

I open my eyes and look to the sun slowly dipping into the horizon. It would have been a beautiful sunset if only the fact that the day has come to an end wasn't bothering me. 

I turn to look at the others. I can see Cheryl and Tori sitting on the seesaw, balancing their weights equally so that both of them are at the same level, and laughing their heads off at some stupid joke. 

They are so busy laughing that they do not notice Laura and Iris sneaking up on them. After timing their movements, both of them push the girls on the seesaw into the sand. 

Wow! What a rare sight was that. I just saw Cheryl and Tori fall headfirst into the sand ! I need to take a pic of this !

I quickly pull out my phone and record it instead.

Hehe! I can use this for future emergencies to take revenge.

After recording, I keep my phone in my pocket and continue gazing at all the girls.

Cheryl and Tori both have straight jet black hair falling elegantly over their shoulders and their body structures are almost same. Obviously! The fact that they are twins plays a very important role in saying that they look alike. 

But if you had been with them as long as I have been, then probably you would have been able to distinguish between them. Cheryl has a heart shaped face and has one of her front tooth facing a little to the side and Tori has an oval face.

Not to forget the fact that Cheryl is a tiny bit taller than Tori.

I divert my attention from the twins to the pranksters- Laura and Iris.

Iris has her thick frizzy black hair tied into a pony tail and she has pretty blue eyes, and Laura has shoulder length black hair left open. Personally I think both are just perfect for each other, both of them are around the same height and they always used to fall into trouble together back in high school. 

At present, both of them are busy laughing at the twins covered in sand. The twins call them a colorful string of bad words which I would prefer not to mention here.

I search for the other two of my friends who are missing from the whole scene. I spot Natasha and Angelica huddled below a tree, conspiratorially giggling while looking at something in Natasha's phone. 

Angelica is sooo thin that we all make fun of her saying that we could literally break her into two like a stick. On the other hand Natasha is fit and healthy with long black hair which she ties in a French braid. 

I am just about to get off the swing to walk a little when suddenly a couple of rough hands push me headfirst into the sand. 

"What the hell, dud...." I scream and I'm immediately cut off by the sand which fills into my mouth.

I cough so hard getting up that I feel that my lungs would come out. I spit the sand out of my mouth and turn to glare at the pranksters. Who could it be ?

The Great Twins of course ! I should have known that they wouldn't sit still .

I dust my clothes and say, "That was pretty rude guys ! What did I ever do to you ?"

The twins are trying so hard to control their laughter but in the end Cheryl says, "Don't act all innocent. Iris told me that she saw you recording our humiliating fall in the sand. Give me your phone . Lemme delete it !" She extends her right hand towards me, indicating me to give my phone to her.

"As if ! In your dreams. This is my phone and I decide who I should give it to ."I say and cross my hands. 

They both stare at me for a minute and then they just shrug their shoulders and walk away.

What's up with those two ? 

I turn towards Natasha and Angelica and surprisingly find them walking towards me. In fact everyone seems to be walking towards me. 

Finally when we huddle into a group, they all hug me. I'm taken aback at first but later I hug them back.
