"What?" I ask.
"I believe we've found the source of a Legend!" Sensa says.
"Cool! What is it?"
"I cannot tell yet. Just a few more minutes." He continues. He finds another Legend Source, then goes back to his desk and grabs something that resembles a tuning fork. He holds it over my foot, and a green vine comes up between the prongs.
"Ah," he murmurs. "I see."
"What is it?" I ask.
"Tajįo."*
"And what does that do?"
"You can control plants. And communicate telepathically with animals."
"Awesome!" I exclaim. He chuckles. he moves the fork to my eyes, and I little eyeball with a camera inside the pupil appears. I cross my eyes to see it. Sensa takes it away.
" ßəkil eyes**. Eye photos. You can think in your mind, 'click', and your eyes will immediately take a picture and store it in a file in your brain until you delete it."
"You're making my brain sound like a computer. How do I delete it and how do I access the file?"
"I will address it later." Wow. "Go back with the others now, have Mekhi show you to your rooms."
I head back into the dining room. Khylie and Zane are whispering and laughing in the back corner, Isaac is arm-wrestling with Jai, and Kia is talking with Mekhi. Jai finally touches Isaac's hand to the table, then jumps up and parades himself around the hall. Then he appears right next to me and talks really loud.
"SO WHAT DID SENSA SAY? DID HE WHIP YOU?"
I jump and say, "No, he only does it to you when you're bad." He chuckles and slaps my shoulder.
"I like this loser!" he says.
"Wow thanks..."
"So? What did he actually say? Did he Legend check?" Mekhi asks.
"Yep!" I reply.
"What'd you find?" she asks.
"I have something called Tajįo."
"Oh the plant and animal thing?"
"Yea!" I'm impressed. "And ßəkil eyes. Photographic eyes."
"Sweet," Jai says.
"Yea! Ok follow me now. I will show you to your rooms," Mekhi says.
