A/N: Get ready. This chapter is kinda short, but has a lot of new stuff for ya.

•===================•

A little girl with the new colored eyes (I think I'll refer to the color as "NC") comes up to me. I look down at her and see I'm wearing a blue tunic. The girl looks to be about around the ages of 8 to 10.

"Lucas. Follow me," she says, and runs off. How does she know my name? I hurry after her. She rounds a corner and I lose sight of her. I turn the corner and see a... castle? Yea a castle. But as I get closer, it gets smaller. No. Wait. It's just a mural. But the girl walks right through it. I run to the wall, and put my hands on it, around the painted door. I rub my hand across the doorknob, and I feel a click. I reach a tentative hand out, and it goes right through the wall! I slowly bring the rest of my body through. When I get to the other side, I see the girl holding a little screen thingy. She motions for me to sit down in front of her. I sit. She sets the screen down on the floor, and it projects onto the wall a few feet away. It starts. At first, it's just a blur of colors. Then the colors mold into shapes: a sprawling city. Babylon. The image is really bad quality; this video must have been made a very long time ago. The image zooms in on a pyramid. Two men in colorful robes are standing in front. They're talking. From the sound of it, it's definitely not English. But... I can understand it... Somehow. I can't actually hear the people talking now, but then a male announcer or something comes on.

"Ancient Babylon was a world of many colors. Everyone in the town knew the of the Colors. But not all the villagers where part of the Colors. Very few people were chosen." The voice changes to a woman.

"The Colors were a select group of people with special powers. The powers varied from village, to family, to individual. The powers worked a little like traits. They were passed down from generations. New ones always surfaced in individuals though. You could recognize a Color by their range of blue, green, purple, pink or hayeth colored eyes." Hmm. So hayeth must be the name of the new color.

"They also have a small, 7-sided star on the back of their left ear. The Colors worked to defend against The Void, a group determined to take over Babylon and enslave its people. The Void did not have real powers." A picture appears on screen. The Void were tall, pale, and tattooed their bald scalps and necks. They had black tattoos from their eyebrows, stretching over their heads and down to their necks to the top of their spines.

"The Colors are born blind. Once they turn 14, their eyesight returns, along with powers called Legends." Holy crap. I'm pretty sure I don't have any powers though. But I can't be sure.

"They usually get their first power on their 14th birthday." The video cuts, and becomes newer. The resolution is 3 times better, but still old. A new voice comes on.

"Recently, after the Fall of Babylon, around the year 1900, the Colors powers come later and later; some don't even get their first power until they are 16 and older." The video cuts back to normal, and the female voice continues.

"During the year 257 A.D., the Void launch a great and horrible attack. Babylon crumbles. Many of the Colors are killed during the attack, while many more are killed by the Void. Few escape. Only about 20 Colors are left. The villagers were mostly spared, as long as they followed the laws. The Colors were and are forced into hiding." It ends, but before it fades to black, I see the publishing date.

It fades to black. Then a last picture flashes. It looks like it was shoved in there at the last second.
