What the heck?! That video was made in 1256!!! By who though? And the end bit.
'Long Live The Void'
I'm pretty sure that wasn't supposed to be there. From what the video said, the Void are the bad guys. And that clip looked older than the rest of the video. Even weirder.
The girl stands in front of me, her NC colored, sorry, hayeth colored eyes shimmering.
"Lucas Stryker," she says
"Yes?"
"Here comes Sensa Eie Jeb, the oldest of the living Colors. Await." She walks off. Through a bamboo door I didn't notice before, an extremely old man enters the room, clothed in white robes. That's the least amount color I've seen all day. His eyes are like a rainbow, dashes of blue, green, hazel, purple, pink and hayeth all present.
"Lucas Stryker," he says in a gravely yet pleasant voice.
"That's me."
"Good. I have been awaiting. We now have enough Colors to start the training. Follow Mekhi." The girl is standing next to the old man. She turns around and walks through another door I didn't notice when I came in. I follow her. The room is small, with a table stretching down the middle. I see 5 other kids, probably between the ages of 15-17. They all stare at me. The girl, Mekhi, introduces me.
"This is Lucas Stryker, the 7th Color of the Present."
"Hey Lucas. I'm Jai, the 3rd," a boy says. He's tall, with short, spiky black hair. He's extremely fit, with lean muscles showing through his sleeveless, light green tunic. He shakes my hand with a tight grip. He has a mischievous twinkle in his bright green eyes. He looks around 17 years old.
"I'm the 6th, call me Kia," a girl with long, reddish brown hair and a serious face says. She shakes my hand and looks right into my soul with her dark purple eyes. Her tunic is a lavender, with long sleeves. She's probably 16.
"Zane. 2." A boy with short, curly black hair (he might be Indian) and tan skin nods curtly from across the table. He's probably 16 as well. He has a dark blue long sleeve tunic.
"I'm Khylie, and I'm the 5th. I'm 15." She shakes my hand warmly. She's wearing a flowy, light pink tunic, her eyes magenta.
"As you might know, my name's Mekhi, the 1st and I'm 10."
"Why're you so young? The video thing said you start at 14," Jai says.
"I'm able to see. I haven't developed any Legends though. But Sensa Jeb has been guiding me since I was born. He thinks I am able to join you."
"Cool," says Khylie. "We always need more girls." Then, a boy who's probably 17 walks in. He has dark, dark green eyes, not matching his yellow sleeveless tunic. His brown, wavy hair is tousled, and his jawline sharp.
"Who's the new dude?" he asks in a deep voice.
"Back off Isaac, he's mine to pick on," Jai says, laughing.
"Aww man," Isaac jokes back.
"I'm Lucas. The 7th," I say.
"Ooh! New dude can talk!" Isaac says.
"Isaac, back off," says Zane.
"Fine," he grumbles, then grins. I throw Zane a grateful smile. He nods.
"He's the 4th," Khylie whispers to me.
"So, uh, what are your Legends or whatever?" I ask.
"Watch," says Jai. He drops a hand to the metal table, then takes on a metallic sheen to his skin. My jaw drops. "Come touch." I walk over and knock on his back. It's metal all the way through. Amazing. "I can also teleport."
"No way," I say in disbelief.
"Yeah way. Look." He disappears from his spot next to the table and taps my shoulder. I jump and let out a little yell. He laughs. Zane talks next.
"I can control the weather and gravity," he states. He flips out of his chair and is now sitting on the ceiling. Geez.
"Just watch," Kia remarks. She grabs my hand and it gets really cold really fast. I let go and shake off little icicles. When I look back up, she's gone.
"Can you teleport too?" I ask.
"Nope," says her voice right in front of me. I reach out. She grabs my finger and turns visible again. "Invisibility." She grins.
"Cool." I grin back.
"I have healing powers. That's it so far," Khylie tells me. She motions for my hand. I let her take it. There's a little cut on my pinky, and she touches it with her thumb. The cut starts to glow, and a warm feeling spreads through my hand. It's over in a matter of seconds, which I'm kinda disappointed about.
"That's amazing!" I whisper. She smiles. Isaac looks at me, my knees go weak, and suddenly I want to do anything he says.
"C'm over here Luke," he grins. I walk over to him.
"Have a seat." I drop into the closest chair.
"Poke yourself in the stomach." I can't control my hand. I can't control my brain. I do it.
"Sock yourself in the nose."
"Isaac stop. This isn't funny anymore!" says Khylie.
"Oh yes it is. It's hilarious," he replies. He stumbles backwards. I gain control of my hand right before it hits my nose. Kia appears in front of him.
"No. It really isn't." She glares at him.
"Yo, chill babe. I'm just messin around." She narrows her eyes at him.
"Isaac has something the Greeks called charmspeak," Zane says.
"I can also do perfect imitations," Isaac chimes in.
"I don't care anymore," I say.
"I don't care anymore," Isaac mimics in a perfect me voice.
"That's creepy," I say.
"That's creepy," he imitates. I narrow my eyes at him. He chuckles.
"Well Lucas, what can you do?" Khylie asks.
"Uh, nothing that I know of."
"Lame," Isaac says in my voice.
"Hey back off him, he just got here," Kia says. Turning to me she says,"Sensa Jeb can see if you have developed any yet."
"Cool! When?" I ask.
"Probably soon."
"LUCAS STRYKER," Sensa boomed. "COME INTO MY STUDY!" I walk out of the dining hall. Sensa Jeb is in a little room, motioning to me. I walk in slowly.
"Welcome to my study, my boy! I heard you wanted to be tested for your Legends."
"Y..yes," I stutter.
"Sit down." He walks over to a desk in a corner and starts looking in the drawers. I look around the room. It's made of a light stone, with light from windows looking out over a grass field with a lake and mountains in the distance. The ceiling is lined with cracks filled with bright blue and green, transparent stone. There's a little tree sitting on top of a cabinet. It's not a bonsai tree though. It's something different. The leaves are dimmed shades of green, yellow, orange, red, and hayeth. The floor is a thin, ragged carpet. Sensa finished rifling around, and comes over with a polished stick with a rope tied around it.
"Stand up," he instructs. I stand. He starts, excruciatingly slowly, waves the stick up, starting at my feet. Right away, the stick turns hayeth.
"Ooh, we seem to have found something!" Sensa says.
