A/N: This is the chapter I have been dreading to write and the chapter the reader is probably dreading to read. Unfortunately it's a necessary chapter. I'm so sorry, really, really sorry 😭😭😭

Third Person POV
As soon as Kim ended the call, Newwie jumped out of his car, quickly unlocked the trunk of his car and retrieved his foldable bed. It was the same foldable bed that he would use whenever he spent the night with his boyfriend Tay.
He rushed back inside the hospital lobby and impatiently pressed the button for the elevators. He almost hit a boy with the edge of his foldable bed in his big hurry to enter the elevator. He apologized to the mother who didn't say a word but just glared at him.
He didn't bother to knock on Kim's door but rushed inside excitedly.
Kim had been lying comfortably against his pillows but sat bolt upright upon his entrance.
"Do you ever know how to knock?" he asked reproachfully, "this is the third time that you have just barged into my room without the courtesy of knocking first."
Newwie rushed up to him and enveloped him in his arms.
"I'm so sorry, Kimmie my love, please forgive me, it's just my uncontrollable excitement to be with you again," Newwie spoke sweetly against his ear.
"If you haven't had dinner yet I could ring for an extra tray. We are allowed one extra meal tray for a visitor," Kim offered.
"What kind of dinner are they serving tonight?" Newwie asked.
Kimmon looked thoughtfully at him. He had earlier opened his mouth to say something but seemed to have decided against it. Was he going to say that Newwie was being rude in asking what the dinner was when it was being offered to him for free? Newwie belatedly realized that he shouldn't have asked the question.
Kim pulled his bedside table towards him and lifted the paper that contained the weekly hospital menu.
"Tonight they are serving spaghetti with meatballs and garlic bread and garden salad on the side," he said, "if it's not to your liking there's a cafeteria on the ground floor that has many more choices."
"I will settle for the spaghetti, thank you," Newwie said putting on a grateful smile.
Kimmon pressed the intercom button by his bed side rail.
"Nurse Julie here," said a voice on the intercom.
Kimmon's heart jumped. Was that the Nurse Julie that Dr. K had warned him about and had dealt strictly with him when he had asked her for a pain pill a few days ago?
"Hello, Nurse Julie," Kimmon made his voice as friendly as possible, "I have a visitor who's going to keep me company for the night. Is it possible to include an extra dinner tray for him?"
"Absolutely, sir, I will instruct the kitchen staff to add an extra tray to be sent to your room," Nurse Julie replied.
"Wonderful. Thank you so much, Nurse Julie," said Kimmon.
"Would that be all, sir?" asked Nurse Julie.
"Yes, Nurse Julie, thank you most kindly again," Kimmon replied before letting go of the intercom button.
As soon as Kimmon finished talking on the intercom, Newwie sat on Kimmon's hospital bed, facing him.
"I missed you so much, Kimmie sweetheart," said Newwie, pulling Kimmon into his arms, and kissing the side of his neck.
Kimmon stared straight ahead, his arms lying limply against his sides.
Newwie placed both hands gently against either side of Kimmon's face and slowly pulled his head towards him.
The kiss was tentative at first, as if Newwie was expecting Kimmon to push him away at any time.
Kimmon instinctively closed his eyes when Newwie deepened the kiss.
The kiss turned passionate as Newwie inserted his tongue and teased Kimmon's tongue. He felt emboldened when Kimmon started to return the kiss.
Newwie slowly slid his hand under Kimmon's pajama top and caressed his chest. When his palm slid over Kimmon's nipple, Kimmon broke the kiss, gasping for air.
Then he buried his face in his hands, shaking his head furiously.
Then he pressed the knuckle of one hand against the side of his head while pressing the intercom button with the other.
"Nurse Julie here."
"Nurse Julie, I'm having a severe headache," said Kimmon, "I would say six on a scale from one to ten," Kimmon added before Nurse Julie could ask him the expected question.
"I will send one of the nurses to bring you a pain pill to manage it," said Nurse Julie."
"Thank you, appreciate it," said Kimmon gratefully.
Kimmon knew what had brought on the headache. Some painful memories had flashed through his brain and those memories had included this very person who was sitting on his hospital bed right now.
