Skylar's POV
My eye lids fluttered open, wakening me to a world of pain and bright light.
My entire body ached, my muscles tight and strained from the battle. Every part of me seemed to scream at once, and I was pretty sure someone had set my insides aflame.
Growling deeply, I pushed my body into a sitting position, just now realizing that I was still in my wolf form. I tilted my head, looking down at myself.
My once white fur was now completely covered with blood and dirt. I looked like a wreak, but for now that wasn't important.
My large ears swiveled left and right, searching for sounds as my eyes adjusted to the light of the room. As soon as they did, I quickly realized that I was in a plain room. The walls were painted white, and beneath my paws laid a soft silky cushion. Otherwise the room appeared to be deserted, yet I knew it was anything but.
The prickling of my fur made me weary as I got to my paws, stretching for a moment as I moved my body around, testing my limits and figuring what hurt. All in all I wasn't in too much pain, even the large gash on my back didn't hurt that bad, which only puzzled me.
Starting to feel trapped as more seconds ticked by, I looked around the room, finding one door and two windows. I quickly moved towards the windows, getting a good look outside the household that I was being kept in.
The sun was out in all it's glory, but the grounds on which it shinned down upon made me narrow my eyes.
Below my window I could make out three people, or should I say wolves. Each of them looked as if they were on steroids, and each of them looked deadly.
Instantly I felt my hackles rise at the thought of enemies on my territory, then I finally thought about my pack.
Where were they? Did they know where I was? Who had taken me? Was I close to home? Would I get out of here?
All these questions flew through my mind, and I had to take a few breaths to calm myself down. If anything, I would make it out of here. I was of Alpha blood, I could take these filthy rouges on, and that's when I started to remember.
A pack of rouges had crossed into my territory. They were trespassing so I came to chase them out, but there were a lot more than I had originally thought. The rest of the night seemed blurry to my mind. I remembered fighting and then.... Then everything afterwards was black..... Yet there was still something pulling to the back of my mind, flashing like a warning, but I couldn't figure out what it was.
I shook my head in frustration. I didn't need to think about the past, right now I needed to get out of here, where ever exactly that is.
Zeroing in on the door I quickly tried to wiggle the door knob with my mouth.
There was no way I was going to change into my human form. First off I had no clothes, and secondly I would be in a weaker state.
The door handle didn't move, telling me it was locked. I growled a bit, starting to get frustrated. Pacing around the room for moment, I let myself come up with a plan.
Looking up at the door once more, I set my stance, and dug my paws into the floor, throwing myself against the door. It made a loud sound when my large body hit it, but otherwise nothing happened.
I shook my dizzy head and picked myself up, deciding that the door wasn't my way out.
Quickly turning towards the window, I decided I was getting out of here. Now
Picking up my pace, I sprinted to the windows, which gave me about three strides of my long wolf legs before I tucked my head, shut my eyes, and made contact with the glass.
