2AM - Saturday, Manila.
I heard my phone ringing. Damn it! Who the hell would make a call in times like this? I'm almost in my slumber. I sat up from bed and looked at the side table to get my phone.
'Clarence Perez calling...'
I rolled my eyes before answering the call.
"You have five minutes to give me a good reason for disturbing my sleep. And it starts now." I said without a pause.
I heard him smirked from the other line. What a jerk he is! "I just got back from Canada. I'm here at the airport. Sunduin mo ako."
"Ugh. Wala ka bang kaibigan at ako pa ang kailangang sumundo sayo?" I asked annoyed. I'm not his girlfriend not even his friend. We're just, I don't know, acquaintance.
"Just be here in 30 minutes, Sage." then he hang up.
I got up from bed and took a pair of jeans and a shirt from my cabinet. I wore them and match it with a sneakers then went inside the cr. I brushed my teeth and comb my hair so I'm now ready to fetch that handsome creature.
I used my car and drove my way to the airport. It just took me almost 20 minutes to be there since my pad is near the airport. I texted him and told him that I'll just wait outside. I leaned on my car and waited for him.
I saw that ever gorgeous man walking his way towards me with that stupid smile on his handsome face. He's wearing a v-neck shirt that matches his beannie and leather shoes without socks. God, could he look anymore beautiful than now?
I waved my hand at him and he waved back. He was now infront of me. He smiled at me, though it didn't reach his eyes. I frowned. "Don't tell me you failed on getting her back?"
He didn't utter any word. He just stared at me impassively and grinned, "This time, I will forget her for real."

"So, you let him go?" Nof asked for the nth time. Nagviber video call kami. I told her about Clarence's sudden appearance and his heartbreaking confession. I told her everything and she's scolding me like hell.
