A/N I smell conflict in the air.....

The week that followed Jungkook's birthday was pure bliss between him and Taehyung. It had been sex, kisses, more sex, cuddles, and sweet moments both couldn't get enough of. They had gotten even closer, if at all possible, and it gave Jungkook hope they could be something more.

He wanted that.

It had happened the night of his birthday, that was the night he realized. After having sex under the stars, they had redressed and gone back to Taehyung's dorm. When they were going to sleep in and Taehyung was holding Jungkook close, whispering sweet nothings in his ear, kissing him slowly, making him feel like the most important person in Taehyung's life, Jungkook realized something he had been trying to deny for a long time.

He was madly in love with Taehyung.

It made the week after his birthday even more blissful than it already was. He felt like Taehyung had the same feelings, but he couldn't be sure. When they were together, Taehyung would always mention at least once how annoying Jenny was getting and that he didn't know why they were together anymore.

It gave Jungkook hope.

Monday shattered his hope.

He hadn't heard from Taehyung all weekend, which concerned him for starters. He texted him a few times but got no responses. He had been worried about Taehyung. However, his worry disappeared Monday when he heard talk by the guys bathrooms.

"Damn, Jenny and Taehyung were at it all weekend, didn't leave for food even", one guy said.

"Don't know when they rekindled their relationship or whatever, but they did it with a bang", another chuckled.

"They're hot and heavy in the cafeteria even now", the first one said again. Jungkook couldn't believe this, no, he wouldn't. But, sure enough, when Jungkook walked into the cafeteria, Jenny and Taehyung were making out hotter then he had even seen before.

Maybe even hotter than they had.

He stood at the entrance, feeling his heart break and shatter into a million pieces. Imagine having to watch the person you love kiss someone that heatedly in front of you, you having knowledge that this and more was the reason they ignored you too.

Jungkook felt tears come to his eyes and felt all hope drain from his body. He let out a small sniffle as tears began rolling down his cheeks. On the bright side, no one seemed to notice Jungkook. Well, no one but Lisa. Lisa quickly walked over to him and pulled him out of the cafeteria.

"You sit here, I'm gonna grab you breakfast, then we'll go back to your dorm", she said as she sat him down on the bench outside. She went through the line and grabbed food for Jungkook before going back to the bench where the broken boy still sat.

Yes, he knew Taehyung was dating Jenny, but he knew they had been less touchy because him and Taehyung were fucking. It made him feel special that Taehyung was saving his touches for him. But now, now he felt like shit. Were they like this because Jungkook was doing something wrong or because Taehyung was bored with him? Why?

Lisa pulled Jungkook out of his thoughts by grabbing his hand and leading him to his dorm. As soon as they got inside, and Lisa set the food down, Jungkook burst into tears and sobs. Lisa quickly hugged him tightly and rubbed his back.

"Shh, it's okay Kookie", she murmured," You don't have to tell me what's wrong, just let me comfort you, okay?"

"M'kay", Jungkook sobbed into her shoulder. Lisa walked him over to the bed where they sat down, Jungkook still clinging to Lisa, though she didn't mind. After all, she loved and cared about Jungkook very much and would always be there for him. He sobbed for another hour before calming down enough to eat. Right after he ate, he fell asleep quickly. Lisa stroked his hair as he slept, looking down at the broken boy.

"Damn it Taehyung and Jenny, why the hell are you getting along again?", Lisa whispered to herself.

Jungkook went to his last three classes of the day after waking up and thanking Lisa, even more thankful she didn't ask what was wrong. He avoided Taehyung at every turn. Taehyung found it a little weird, but assumed he was just in a mood that day. Jungkook even avoided him at football practice and dodged his one text, which didn't seem difficult, but was possibly one of the hardest things he had to do.

However, his avoidance didn't just last a day, not two, not three, a week. It lasted a week. Taehyung was concerned and fed up some, being mostly distracted by Jenny helped take his mind off it. But, one day after football practice, Taehyung cornered Jungkook.

"Why are you avoiding me? You're the opposite of last week. Last week was nice", Taehyung huffed. Jungkook looked at him with a look in his eyes Taehyung couldn't quite read. It didn't look like anything he had ever seen before.

It looked dull, lifeless, nothing like the Jungkook he knew.

"Just go fuck Jenny and forget about me, it doesn't seem hard for you", he said in a monotone voice before shutting his locker, grabbing his bag, and leaving. Taehyung stood there in shock as to what had brought that on. After all, Jungkook had been avoiding him, not the other way around. He got changed, a million thoughts crowding his brain. It didn't take long before Jenny was calling him for another night of sex. He sighed and said he'd be there soon.

As soon as Jungkook was in his dorm, he broke down in tears, just like every day the past week. And just like every day the past week, Lisa was there to comfort him, never asking why. And just like every other day that week, Taehyung spent his time fucking Jenny. What was different you ask?

Taehyung couldn't stop thinking about where the hell he fucked up.
