Lisa knocked on Taehyung's dorm room door an hour and a half before Taehyung would leave to go play in the football game at their school tonight. Taehyung opened the door and moved aside for Lisa to come in.

"Are you ready for tonight?", She asked," Don't be nervous"

"Are you kidding? I'm nervous as hell, but I'm ready", Taehyung nodded, taking a deep breath.

"Do you have what you're gonna say planned?", she asked.

"Of course", he nodded back.

"You talked to the school and they gave you permission?", she asked.

"They made sure they had a working microphone ready for me even. It's all hooked up to the speakers right now. They had me come to the field an hour ago and practice", Taehyung chuckled.

"Good, I wondered if they'd do what I told them", Lisa smiled.

"You told them to have practice?", Taehyung asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Did you stutter during practice?", she asked.

"Yeah, but only the first few times" Taehyung said.

"Right, and now you shouldn't stutter at all when the real thing happens", Lisa smiled proudly.

"I can't believe you", Taehyung said, rolling his eyes. Lisa smacked the side of his head.

"I think the words you're looking for are 'thank you'", she scoffed.

"Fine, thank you Lisa", he grumbled, rolling his eyes again. Despite how it looked, both knew he was thankful for Lisa making him practice.

"Now, I'm gonna go get Jungkook ready and convince him to go", Lisa smiled.

"Okay, I'm gonna go warm up at the field", Taehyung said, smiling nervously. Lisa walked closer and hugged him.

"You're gonna do great, Taehyung, don't worry", she whispered.

"Thanks", he smiled as they both pulled away from the hug. Taehyung smirked," You know I'm gonna tell Jungkook you were actually nice and actually hugged me"

"There's no proof, he'll never believe you", Lisa said nonchalantly before waving a goodbye and leaving a nervous Taehyung to be nervous alone.

"Why do you wanna go to another football game? You were so bored the last time", Jungkook asked as him and Lisa walked into the front row of the bleachers, Lisa pulling on his arm to get him to walk faster. It wasn't just at this moment either, no, she had pulled him like that the whole way there.

"Because, I have a surprise for you that we need to be there for", Lisa giggled," Well, it's not my surprise, but it's for you"

"Okay?", Jungkook said, confused. It had been a week since him and Taehyung had talked in the art room, so the first thing on his mind was prom stuff, not Taehyung asking him out stuff. They waited for the game to start.

Right before the game was about to start, one of the coaches put a microphone in the middle of the field. Everyone was confused as to what was happening, including Jungkook. Lisa just smiled widely. A second later, Taehyung came out onto the field, grabbing the mic from the stand.

"Sorry in advance to all of the people who wanted the game to start right now, this'll only take a few minutes", he said," Now, the reason I came out here is to explain some things"

Everyone was quiet as he began to talk, wanting to hear what was about to be said, and waiting to see what the outcome would be.

"So, a few weeks ago, I kissed Jungkook in the lunch room. If you didn't know that, you must have been living under a rock", Taehyung chuckled," Anyways, I did that as a way to try to apologize to Jungkook and show him how I feel. See, Jungkook and I used to be friends with benefits, and sorry Kookie if you didn't want people to know that, but it's important"

Whispers echoed through the crowd and everyone was staring at Jungkook and Taehyung. Jungkook was blushing bright red as he focused his gaze on Taehyung.

"Things were a bit rocky, but one thing overall has remained, even after the arrangement ended, due to my stupidity. That one thing is that I am so in love with Jeon Jungkook, it's insane", Taehyung smiled," I needed to tell everyone how much he means to me and how much I don't want to lose him. I want him as my boyfriend so bad that it hurts. He means the world to me, even just as my best friend. I don't know if I mean the same to him, but I'm sure I'm pretty high up there"

"Shut up, you know you mean the same!", Lisa called down to him, making everyone laugh briefly.

"Well, although I never want to stop being his best friend, I do also want something more", Taehyung smiled," I want to be able to hold him whenever I want, kiss him so he knows how special he is, call him my love and my baby, and most importantly-", he said, looking directly into Jungkook's eyes," I want to be able to tell him and show him just how much I love him and how much he means to me, because if I didn't say it already, this boy in front of me is my entire world"

Everyone was awwing and Jungkook was even brighter red. Taehyung walked up to the edge of the bleachers and Lisa pushed Jungkook to edge, so the two boys were right across from each other.

"I want me asking you to be my boyfriend to be a private thing, not in front of everyone, so that's not what I'm doing right now", Taehyung said," I'm asking you a different question"

"And what might that be?", Jungkook asked softly, a bit confused.

"Will you do me the honor of being my date to the prom?", Taehyung asked, his voice wavering slightly in nervousness. Jungkook smiled and took the microphone.

"You'll just have to show up to prom to find out my answer", he smirked, knowing the anticipation was killing Taehyung.

"What?", Taehyung halfway whined.

"You hear me, you'll have to wait", Jungkook smiled. He handed Taehyung back the microphone before leaning in to place a soft kiss on his cheek. Taehyung blushed softly and nodded, Jungkook returning to his seat beside Lisa.

"Okay, on with the game now", Taehyung smiled into the microphone. He grabbed the stand and dragged it off the field with him. Not five minutes later, the teams came out and the game started.

"You're such a tease, you know that?", Lisa asked Jungkook.

"Oh I know", Jungkook giggled, making Lisa giggle too. For the rest of the game, people talked about what happened before, while Jungkook and Lisa were full of smiles, and Taehyung of nervousness.
