Chapter 19

It wasn't long after they were official that the entire school found out Jungkook and Siwon were dating. The most surprising thing though, was that they accepted it. Girls would always find time to tell the couple they looked cute together or guys would find time to say that they admire Jungkook for being brave and still being the Jungkook he always was.

Jungkook couldn't deny he loved the positive attention. He loved it even more because it helped him know he made the right choice in not staying fuckbuddies with Taehyung. He was so much happier with Siwon, everything was going perfect.

But a part of him still longed for Taehyung.

He always pushed that part of him aside because he told himself that part of him was the person he had been for as long as he's known Taehyung, the part of him that wants to forgive Taehyung and be his best friend again. But he can't give into that part. He knows exactly what will happen if he does, and he doesn't want to get hurt like that again.

Jungkook and Siwon had been dating happily for a week with no issues presenting themselves. That is, until Taehyung decided he had had enough of the two. He began hanging around Jungkook every chance he got, despite the younger telling him to go away.

Jungkook never lashed out at the elder because, quite frankly, he didn't have the heart to. He figured Taehyung would get bored with annoying him when he showed no signs of going back to the relationship they once had in any aspect.

But oh, was he wrong.

Taehyung's antics only got worse. He moved on to hanging around Jungkook every chance he got, to hanging around Jungkook and Siwon together any chance he got. He knew it would stop them from acting very 'couply', which it did.

However, this was starting to affect Jungkook's relationship with Siwon in ways Taehyung didn't know.

As Taehyung got more protective, so did Siwon. Jungkook was flattered at first, thinking Siwon enjoyed this a bit, but he was wrong. Siwon wasn't enjoying it, it was making him anxious and upset. He hadn't told Jungkook, not knowing how Jungkook would react, but when Taehyung started sitting with them at lunch, he had had enough.

"Jungkook, we need to talk", Siwon had said one night when they were cuddling at Jungkook's dorm.

"Okay, this sounds serious", Jungkook said as he sat up on the bed, Siwon doing the same.

"It is. It's about Taehyung", Siwon sighed.

"Okay, what about him?", Jungkook asked, holding Siwon's hand.

"I hate how much he's hanging around you, us. I want our time together to be our time. I don't if friends hang out occasionally, but he's a nuisance. I don't like how protective he's getting over you when you guys aren't even friends. I don't mind being protective over you too, but its getting exhausting baby", Siwon sighed.

"I understand", Jungkook nodded.

"I just, I don't want to lose you and I feel like you're going to chose him over me", he continued.

"Siwon, babe, I'm not going to go to him. I promise. We're not even friends right now and I don't want him to be in my life, at least not for a while. You have nothing to worry about", Jungkook smiled softly. He leaned in and gently kissed Siwon's lips.

"Okay, but can you just tell him to possibly back off some if he keeps going?", Siwon asked. Jungkook nodded.

"Of course", he said," Now, can we get back to cuddling"

"Yes dear", Siwon giggled softly as he laid back down on the bed, pulling Jungkook into his arms.

The next day, Jungkook finally snapped. Him and Siwon had been enjoying their lunch, cutely feeding each other and sharing kisses, when Taehyung approached. Jenny was testing today, so he had no where better to be, apparently.

He walked up behind them and sat next to Jungkook, very closely. He wrapped an arm around his waist and got very close.

"What's for lunch today?", he asked deeply in the voice that always made Jungkook melt, though Jungkook had gotten very good at hiding that fact.

"Back. Up. Now", Jungkook said lowly.

"It's so cute when you're pretending to be angry", Taehyung basically cooed. Siwon was about to step in when Jungkook stood up.

"Kim Taehyung move your ass out of that seat and away from me before I make you move", Jungkook said firmly and loudly.

"Calm down, I'm just sitting here", Taehyung half scoffed.

"That's it", Jungkook growled. He grabbed Taehyung by his ear and pulled him out of the cafeteria. He led him into one of the empty classrooms and basically threw him inside before shutting the door. Taehyung sat down on top of one of the desks," You weren't just sitting there"

"Yeah huh", Taehyung mumbled.

"Did I ask you to talk? No, now shut the hell up until given other directions", Jungkook scoffed, crossing his arms," I've told you countless times to leave me alone, yet you refused to. You should really get your head out of your ass and listen once in a while, it does wonders. You're not just annoying the shit out of me, you're bordering on causing problems between Siwon and I and you need to stop"

"Why do you care if I'm around? It was easy for you to drop me as a fuckbuddy and friend, I don't see how-", Taehyung began before Jungkook let out an actual growl.

"You think it was fucking easy for me to drop you?! Do you honestly think that?!", Jungkook yelled. Taehyung had never seen Jungkook so angry," Do you know why I came to your dorm when I heard you and Jenny were breaking up?"

"You wanted to actually date me"

"And do you know why?"

"No"

"You're such a fucking idiot Taehyung", Jungkook chuckled exasperatedly," I was in love with you Taehyung, I was about to tell you I loved you when you fucked everything up! Do you know how much that fucking crushed me? No, you obviously don't, and you obviously don't give a shit about it anyways! So, for the last time, stay the fuck out of my life and my relationship!"

With that, Jungkook walked out of the room and back to Siwon at the lunch table. He wasted no time before pulling him out of there and to his dorm, where they made out the rest of the night, Siwon knowing he was upset and just needed a distraction.

Taehyung on the other hand sat in that classroom blankly until tears started to fall. Him and Jungkook could have been happy together, but instead, he had to go fuck everything up. Jungkook was going to say the three words he longed to say and hear to Taehyung and he fucked it up. He couldn't forgive himself.

So, he went back to his dorm and cried the rest of the night, ignoring every text, call, and appearance from Jenny. He made one of the hardest decisions of his life that night.

He decided he would honor Jungkook's wishes.
