Chapter 9

A/N Be warned, this chapter is fluffier than Yeontan.

The day started out good. Jungkook and Taehyung had gotten back from their guys weekend the night before, making it Monday morning. The two couples were sitting at their normal table for breakfast, well, all but one.

"Where the hell is Taehyung? He hadn't seen me all weekend and told me he'd be down here. Doesn't he miss me?", Jenny huffed.

"There's probably a good reason he isn't here yet", Jungkook said as he leaned on Lisa's shoulder, still exhausted from the amount of amazing sex him and Taehyung had the past weekend.

"Well, he better get here soon because- Oh, there he is", Jenny smiled, waving at Taehyung who was slowly walking towards the table. Jungkook looked at Taehyung and didn't like what he saw. He looked pale except for his eyes, which were red and puffy like he had been crying. He arrived and sat down a foot away from Jenny on the bench. Jungkook immediately put his hand on Tae's arm in a comforting manner," Uh, hello? You haven't seen me all weekend, don't I get a kiss?"

"Not now Jenny", Taehyung replied softly, hid voice scratchy.

"Are you serious? What the hell is up?", she asked.

"Nothing", Taehyung murmured, starting to tear up again," Kook, can we talk alone somewhere?"

"Yeah sure, are you oka-", Jungkook began.

"Um no, you don't get to barely say a hello to me and run off with him again", Jenny snapped.

"Jenny, I really think-", Lisa began before being cut off by Jenny again.

"No, it's not okay. He doesn't always have to hang out with him. He should be hanging out with me. I mean really, what would people start to think if he's hanging out with another guy so much-"

"Jenny! Just shut the fuck up!", Taehyung shouted," Get your head out of your ass and don't you dare tell me when I can and cannot talk to my best friend! I can talk to him whenever I damn well please! Don't you think for a fucking second that you're more important then him! You didn't even fucking ask me what was wrong! Just get out of my way!"

Taehyung stood up and quickly walked out of the cafeteria, all eyes on him. Jungkook quickly got up and followed him. He grabbed Tae's arm and pulled him all the way to his dorm. When they got in there, Jungkook sat down on the bed, he opened his arms for Taehyung. Taehyung immediately crawled into his lap and arms, burying his face in Jungkook's shirt as he began sobbing.

"What happened Taehyungie?", Jungkook asked softly as he rubbed his back gently and stroked his hair, holding him close.

"S-She's gone", he sobbed.

"Who is baby?"

"M-My g-grandma, she's g-gone", he cried softer. Jungkook's eyes widened and he began gently swaying them as well.

'I'm so sorry Tae, just let it out", Jungkook murmured, kissing the top of his head as he felt tears come to his own eyes.

"I didn't even get to say goodbye", Taehyung sobbed, causing Jungkook to start crying as well.

"Neither of us did baby", he sniffled as hot tears ran down his face.

Taehyung's grandma was the most amazing person in either of their families. She was very close to both of the boys. They would go to her house almost every day in the summer before they were sent to boarding school. She always told them to love whoever they wanted, then would tell them how perfect they were for each other, as friends or more. When they were five, they were each other's first kiss, his grandma happily clapping. She said she knew that one day, they would only have each other and that's all they needed.

Part of Jungkook hoped she'd be right.

She was like a mother to both of the boys, more so than their actual parents, so losing her was a big loss for both of them. They sat there, crying their eyes out. They switched their positions, so they were laying down on the bed, both hugging each other tightly as they cried.

After about an hour of sobbing, their cries had reduced to small sniffles as they held each other still. Neither had spoken, neither feeling the need to. There was a soft knock at the door.

"Who is it?", Jungkook asked softly, but somehow the person heard them just fine.

"Lisa, I brought you guys some French toast since you hadn't eaten yet. It's just me, no Jenny. Can I bring it in? I even got extra syrup and little cups of whipped cream", she smiled softly.

"Yeah, come in, it's unlocked", Taehyung smiled softly. They didn't bother moving from their position as Lisa opened the door. Jungkook was expecting Lisa to be a little shocked, but she wasn't fazed whatsoever. She set the plates down on the nightstand, before walking into Jungkook's kitchenette.

"What are you doing?", Jungkook asked.

"Making some tea for you two before I leave", Lisa smiled," Although I may steal a cup as well"

"Thank you", Taehyung said softly as he held Jungkook tighter, snuggling into him more. When Lisa was done with the tea, she brought it over and set it beside the plates of food.

"Can I ask what happened?", she asked softly.

"My grandma passes away. Jungkook and I were both very close to her", Taehyung murmured. Jungkook snuggled deeper into Taehyung's chest.

"I'm so sorry to hear that. If there anything I can do to help?", Lisa asked.

"Not really, you've done enough already", Taehyung smiled softly, Jungkook nodding in agreement," Maybe just keep Jenny away from me for a little while? I need some space where she isn't just right in my face"

"I get it, I'm on it. I'll let you two be alone now", Lisa smiled.

"Thank you", Jungkook smiled softly. Lisa nodded, grabbed her tea, and left. Jungkook looked up at Taehyung and smiled softly," Everything's gonna be alright, your grandma always said it would be as long as we had each other. I fully believe her"

"I do too. Gosh, you're so cute", Taehyung smiled back, leaning down to kiss Jungkook's nose.

"So are you", Jungkook giggled. He leaned up and pressed their lips together a few soft times, giggling all the while.

"Adorable. I wish we didn't have to move today", Taehyung sighed softly.

"Then we won't. Let's just skip classes and cuddle and watch movies", Jungkook smiled, kissing Taehyung's cheek.

"Sounds perfect my baby", Taehyung smiled his boxy smile.

"But first", Jungkook said as he sat up and leaned against the pillows. He grabbed the plates of food," We eat cause I'm starving"

"Agreed", Taehyung smiled as he sat up beside him and began eating.

After eating, the rest of the day was spent in their underwear, Jungkook in his 90210 shirt of course. They watched movies, ate mass amounts of Panda Express they ordered, played video games, cuddles, and shared soft kisses.

It was the perfect day minus the sad event that brought them to it.

It made them feel almost as if they were a real couple. 

But neither saw a problem with that... for now.
