Chapter 12

"I've gotta be strong", Jungkook whispered to himself as he stood in front of Tae's door. It was the day after the whole locker room incident. He wanted to tell Taehyung he didn't want to be friends with benefits anymore. He had given it a lot of thought, but the overall truth was that he couldn't be anymore, not when it hurt him like this so much.

So, maybe if he ended the arrangement his feelings would go away, and things could go back to the way they were before, that's what he wanted most. Well, honestly, what he wanted most was Taehyung to leave Jenny and be his and only his, but he didn't see that happening anytime soon.

Jungkook slowly knocked five times on the door. He knew Taehyung should be here but wasn't sure since he didn't hear any noise from inside and it was almost noon. He waited a minute as he heard some movement inside. Jungkook knew his decision to end this was right when Jenny opened the door.

"What?", Jenny asked. She was wearing one of Taehyungs big shirts he hardly ever wore.

"Is Taehyung here?", Jungkook asked softly.

"Yeah, but we're busy", Jenny said.

"I need to talk to him", he murmured.

"No, I'm just now getting my boyfriend back after you kept taking him away the past few months. He doesn't need you around him 24/7. We need time too", Jenny scoffed.

"P-Please just let me talk to him", Jungkook murmured, close to tears. Maybe Taehyung didn't need him.

"What did I just-", Jenny was interrupted by the bathroom door opening.

"Who's at the door?", Taehyung asked.

"Don't worry about it", Jenny smiled at him, about to shut the door before Taehyung stopped her. Jungkook tried to hide the gulp he had to do, seeing Taehyung shirtless with just sweats on, the waistband of his boxers poking out the top.

"Oh, hey Jungkook. Did you need something?", Taehyung asked, looking past Jungkook, obviously awkward.

"Yeah, I needed to talk to you", Jungkook murmured, looking down.

"Okay, Jenny can you get dressed and leave please?", Taehyung asked.

"What?", Jenny asked annoyed.

"Now, it's not an option", Taehyung said, more firm this time.

"Fine", she huffed. She was dressed and leaving in less than five minutes, but not before giving Taehyung a hot kiss in front of Jungkook, which made his heart shards shatter even more. When she left, Taehyung invited Jungkook in, closing the door behind him. Jungkook sat down on the edge of the recliner. Taehyung sat on the bed.

"What did you wanna talk about?", Taehyung asked softly.

"I, um, I don't think the arrangement is working...", Jungkook murmured.

"Yeah, I don't either. You were avoiding me all week. I thought we had been going really really good too", Taehyung sighed softly.

"We were, but then I heard about you and Jenny getting all hot again and-"

"So? That doesn't have anything to do with our arrangement", Taehyung got up and knelt down in front of Jungkook, taking his hands," Just cause I sleep with her doesn't mean I don't wanna sleep with you still. Besides, you're my best friend. I really missed you this week in a non-sexual way too"

"I-I'm sorry", Jungkook murmured.

"Please don't ignore me again, please can we make our weeks like they have been in the past before this", Taehyung asked with hopeful eyes.

"Of course, I missed you too", Jungkook said as he hugged Taehyung tightly. So much for ending the arrangement. Jungkook couldn't bare to anymore, he loved being able to hold Taehyung and visa versa like this. They hugged for a while before Taehyung pulled away and kissed Jungkook tenderly, a feeling that made Jungkook hum in happiness.

Yeah, he was in love.

"Please stay today and tonight. I want to pamper you and make you feel like the prince you are", Taehyung smiled up at him, to which Jungkook could only nod. Taehyung kissed over his face gently before leaving the same soft kisses down his neck, to his arms, to his hands, before kissing the palm of each, looking up at him with loving eyes.

Jungkook could feel his breath hitch, not in arousal, but because of the butterflies in his stomach from Tae's actions. Taehyung kissed his way back up until he was kissing Jungkook softly again and Jungkook never wanted it to stop, for the feeling to end. But, he pulled away after a few seconds.

"Taehyung?", he asked softly,

"Yes my angel?", Taehyung replied.

"Can we wait to do anything sexual and stuff until later? I, um, I just want cuddles right now and to be held", Jungkook whispered nervously, to which Taehyung let out a brief chuckle.

"Of course Kookie", he smiled. He picked Jungkook up and sat back down in the recliner, making sure Jungkook was comfortable on his lap. Jungkook nuzzled his head into Tae's chest and wrapped his arms around him, breathing in his comforting scent again.

"Thank you", he murmured.

"Anytime Kook, you know that", Taehyung whispered back before placing a soft kiss on Jungkook's forehead. He grabbed the remote and turned on the TV to Friends while they cuddled. They cuddled and softly kissed for a long time before they both fell asleep, not waking up until after seven.

When they woke up, Jungkook sat on the kitchen counter while Taehyung made some ramen for dinner for them. Jungkook ate it while sitting like that too, Taehyung resting his bowl between Jungkook's legs as he stood there to eat, kissing him somewhere on his face between each bite, resulting in a giggle from the younger.

After dinner and dinner cleanup, the two had sex, of course. It was like the sex they had on Jungkook's birthday, but maybe even softer and more meaningful. Taehyung definitely want lying when he said he was gonna treat Jungkook like a prince and pamper him. That's what he did and more.

When sex was over, and they had both showered, they laid in bed together, Jungkook smushed up against Taehyung, Taehyung's arms wrapped tightly around him. Taehyung kissed his forehead gently before murmuring a goodnight and falling asleep. Jungkook just watched him sleep peacefully for a while before going to sleep as well, happier than he had been all week.

Yeah, he was in love even more in than before.
