Another normal day has come. Days have passed after that incident. That guy, that obsessed admirer of Sinb, is under surveillance due to the viability that he might be really sick. I am currently heading to my class with Sujeong beside me.

We reached the exit of our dormitory building and I was welcomed by the sight of a very familiar figure of a man. It's Kook.

"Good morning."

"Good morning," Sujeong returned while I just gave him a slight nod. He drew near me, stole my backpack and brought it to his shoulder. He then casually placed his arm above my shoulders.

"You seemed to be not in the mood," he remarked and I could sense his stare at me.

"Your month just ended last week," Kook pondered, thinking of feasible reasons why I looked indifferent at this hour.

I turned my head to look at him. "You're so loud early in the morning," I muttered and noticed the scar on his left cheek. In instant, I felt the some traces guilt seeping in.

He got that scar from that fight with Sinb's obsessed fan. Argh, but it is technically my fault why he received that. I unknowingly sighed in contrition and he perceived it.

"Hey, it's not your fault," he uttered and gently pinched my nose. I swayed my head to get off his hold and subsequently faced him.

I sighed once again and took a closer look to his scar. I simplemindedly touched it and let out a heavy sigh. It's just too bad to see, I felt like I ruined his ravishing face.

Waitㅡravishing face?! Did I just compliment him?

Argh, this is so unusual and it expectedly disgusted me. This is not so me. But he looks pale today, is he alright?

"I'm sorry for ruining your ruined, ugly face," I snapped back and slightly slapped his face with a grimace.

"Okay, Goran is back," he happily chuckled in contentment and we walked our way to our classroom.

These days, students rarely see us together. Well, it's all because of our research. He is often with Sinb and I am with Yugyeom as well. That's why he occasionally waited for me outside our dormitory building so we could walk together to class.

Maybe I should stop being immature and preclude myself from making a big deal out of small and senseless things. I know, I have observed myself whenever Kook and Sinb are together.

Alright, I admit. I feelㅡfelt jealous.

Of course, who wouldn't feel jealous when someone else does the things you used to do to your best friend? It just felt like I was being replaced.

Yes, I got jealous as his best friend. Well, it's normal anyway.

So from now on, let's keep all the negative things away and accept the reality. That in the end, me and Kook will have to be apart to be able to live our own lives, it's not like we can be together always and forever. That's not being realistic.

"Yein-ah."

I was taken aback when he mentioned my name. He seldom addresses me by my name. The last time I recall, he called me by my name when he asked me if I could be his date for our acquaintance party.

"Woah?" I commented and spared him a glance. He just wore a wry smile upon my comment.

"You know how much I love you, right?"
