"I'll see you later, okay?" Adam leaned in as I unfastened my seatbelt.

"Yeah, okay." I looked at his enchanting blue eyes and smiled. Then, I gave him a small kiss before going out.

"Bye." I smiled and stood outside, waiting for him to drive off.

"Bye." he smiled back and stepped on the gas, driving away.

I give a sigh.

For some weird reason, I don't want him to go. I just want to stay with him all day. To just watch a scary movie on the couch, wrapped in comfy sheets and eating a box of pizza...

I turned around, looking up at the tall building - Kios studios.

So that dream with Adam must wait.

Right now, it's about my dream.

I entered the building, quite shocked at how sophisticated the place looked.

It was like four times higher and three times wider than Adam's house. And Adam's house is gigantic.

Basically, it looked more like a large financing company than a recording studio.

People wore formal and sophisticated business clothes, walking around frantically. I was quite ashamed of how different my clothes were from theirs - White L.A print crop top, black ripped jeans, plain white converse shoes and ZERO MAKEUP.

I fidgeted, tugging at my crop top that showed my belly button.

I feel so inappropriate.

"Mandy!" Dylan came striding with a smile, from behind me.

I just gave a smile, not greeting him back. I just felt like my voice would echo and would make a shameful scandal.

"Hey, how are you?" he gave me a tight hug and I did the same.

"I'm good!" I said, enthusiastically.

He let go and squeezed my shoulders, smiling widely.

"I have a surprise for you."

"A surprise?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"C'mon." he took my hand and led me to the elevator.

He pressed the "up" button and after a few seconds, the elevator door opened. And we entered.

"What's this surprise?" I smirked.

"That's why it's a surprise, doofus. I can't tell you right now." he rolled his eyes at me like I just asked a stupid question.

"Well, you shouldn't have told me you had a surprise. Cause I will pry you ill I get what I want." I gave him a devious smile.

He laughed. "You won't pry me for long. As soon as we reach the head manager's room, you'll find out." he said matter of factly.

The elevator dinged and Dylan immediately rushed me outside.

Dang, this guy seems like he's on drugs.

He came to a halt in front of a glass door. It looked like it was only a mirror as we saw our clear reflection, if not for the elusive gold door knob.

Dylan pressed a small button beside the door.

"Sir, it's Dylan." he spoke into the speaker thingy beside the door. These machineries are like, expensive looking... and definitely advanced.

Wait what? I kinda sounded like a grandma back there.

One more buzz and the door automatically opened.
